    After all the rah rah about intensity and the lack of it last offseason, I expected to see doses of it on display in the preseason. After benching almost every starter for the first game, I’m now expecting more of the same. Dan may have PTSD after leaving Jayden in against the Seahawks.

    All we heard about the past few weeks was about the aggression, energy, etc, and then they play nobody and look dead on arrival. Not a good look for DQ.

    IDK, the more I digest it…I get it. I feel like most schools would hold onto the Heisman # for more than a few years, before handing it over to some cornerback.

    While we are speculating, I think it’s only about the money now - because LSU/Lane/etc. didn’t do what Daniels believed they should/agreed to do. The NIL money is the leverage and they are using it because that’s likely all they have.

    If he uses his platform to spend any significant period of time to talk about this, I’ll be very surprised. He will get asked about it and downplay, deflect and talk about football. That’s why it’s hard for me to see anyone trying to make this some personal agenda hes driving.
