Glen Hansard, Irish folk rock musician, died in a motorcycle accident. Very sad. If you've never heard his music, check out the movie 'Once' - very sweet story. He won the Oscar for Best Original Song for 'Falling Slowly' featured in that film. Very talented man and a big loss to the music world.

Big fan of big, lanky Tommy, and the team since I was a kid.
Him and Ron Guidry were huge, at the time.
Before the internet, I'd grab the Washington Post sports page and dissect the box score stats for every player, before even goin to school.

Still remember when Tommy's teammate, catcher Thurman Munson died in a plane crash,
That hurt. For me, it was almost like when Sean Taylor died.
Rick Cerone had big shoes to fill.

How did a young boy in Oriole's territory become a Yankee fan ?
From my Italian Uncle in New England, the best uncle I ever had.
I would have worn ALL PLAID, if he did it. Come to think of it, he practically did.

She's been all over the news though I never saw anything she was in. I was sadden to know that her parents also lost their only other child, a son, when he was in his 20's from some weird heart thing.

Remember the Titans is a great movie even though she had a minor roll in it as a coaches daughter.
