Diggs with 7 out of the last 8 seasons with 1000 yards plus, only reason why it wasn't 8 out of 8 was he tore his ACL half way into the season before. Otherwise he was on track to do it again.

So with 1000 yards coming off an ACL. Impressive.

Pretty much identical run to Terry, just Diggs goes back further. Terry will be 31 this season. Diggs will be 33.

Ertz didn't fall off a cliff. It was one of his better seasons among his last 6, it would have been even better if he didn't miss those last games. The season before was his best season since his hey day 8 years ago in Philly.

Wagner is a better example IMO, he lost his speed. Could still tackle among the greats, but lost his wheels.

Diggs is more of a quick seperator and a polished route runner than a burner, so losing a little off that fastball if that happens IMO I don't think will contribute to a dramatic drop off. Don't get me wrong it will happen eventually, but I'd be surprised if its next season considering he is now further removed from the ACL injury and had a really good seperation score per usual last season. But lets get crazy and say his long run of 1000 yard seasons is over. A 700 yard season out of him is by a mile higher than anything any of the non-Terry WRs have done and likely will do.

I think this is a good point about Diggs, and it's the same thing that also gives me hope about Aiyuk's performance if signed - Aiyuk has a rep as an elite route runner and separator, he's not a burner, and he therefore seems more likely than somebody like Tyreek Hill (albeit also a good route runner) to have a good first year back after a long layoff.

I still think Aiyuk is a wackadoodle and question whether his bizarre behavior is something that he'll be able to switch off upon joining a team, even if he's here with JD5 babysitting.

I bet we could get two more good years out of Diggs and Terry... meanwhile we sign/draft some youth to be tutored under them. I realize we should have done this before but that was out of my hands.

Did somebody else signs digs then we're kind of stuck with Aiyuk as a last option

I desperately want Diggs. Even if he came here and balled out, I would be very disappointed if they didn't take significant steps to find a replacement for him or Terry next season. For even just one season, I see nothing to lose except an ownership group's pocket change.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but UFL WR Justyn Ross was given a workout today. Undrafted. Good size. Had a few year stint with the Chiefs, mostly on practice squad. Former top Clemson player. Had sone past injuries. Somewhat checkered past, which is a little interesting given this FO’s stance on high character.

Kick them tires

Keim a bit all over the place on his previous podcast that I just caught up with. He leaps from this offense with this WR room can be good to then very good as is -- cool but I don't care about his personal opinion, and I know in another podcast he's couched that as along as Terry is healthy (I am not that far removed from that take, I think the offense can be good if Terry stays healthy and very good if Jayden runs a ton ala 2024 but I don't like that risk) -- then he goes that the team he believes is though looking to upgrade and its a critical year for this staff,

He goes they are monitoring both Diggs and Aiyuk. Would help if Aiyuk gets released before camp starts. Comes off like his opinion is Diggs would make the most impact this season of the two. Maybe sign both, with Aiyuk making a bigger dent in theory the next season and Diggs now albiet he's not sure if they'd sign both.

He believes Diggs will have a decent market and is in no rush to sign somewhere just yet.

The only good news I take out of this is it feels like Diggs is a possibility even if not the favorite so it lol gives me some hope.

The amount of cap space the team has, they can afford both. I'm assuming Diggs wants more than just a "prove it" deal and Aiyuk will just be happy here making viral social media videos with Jayden... 🤣

This is completely unrelated to football.
I just returned from London and saw My Neighbor Totoro there. What they did with set design and poetry was truly impressive. A beautiful show.

Wait, a little confused. He has downgraded his opinion of the WR room from Very Good to Team Needs to Upgrade?

Since it's actually my last name, I've been getting razzed for it pretty much since 1988... 🤣

Oh no! I’m sorry. I thought you chose your username as a fan thing.

My bad. I’m sorry.

Show was still great. Technically amazing.

In other podcasts, especially recently, Keim has essentially said he believes the offense can be good even with the current WR corps because Jayden is that good — provided Terry stays healthy. He made it clear that changes dramatically if Terry misses time.

On another recent podcast, he described the offense as potentially "good" to "very good" with the current receivers because of Jayden being Jayden. At the same time, he's also acknowledged they could use upgrades and has repeatedly said the team still wants to improve the position even though they feel reasonably comfortable with the group they have.

So he's been a little all over the place on that specific topic.

That said, as I mentioned on the media thread when someone gave me grief for saying Keim has been more plugged in than Standig on predicting Washington's moves, my preference for Keim has nothing to do with whether I agree with his opinions. If anything, Standig's personal views on the WR situation are much closer to my own than Keim's are.

For me, Keim's value isn't his opinion. I don't care much about that part. What I care about is what he's hearing. I'm interested in his reporting, not his takes. I want insight into what the organization is thinking, what they're prioritizing, and how they're viewing the roster. Whether I agree with their assessment is a completely separate discussion.

The problem with posting some of your personal info is that someone bored like me will look you up. Are you still with Accenture (LinkedIn account shows this)?

If that's not you, then NEVERMIND :p

Also, did you get your printer fixed? :p I found this on a Linux forum site after you said Linux Admin.

Hello,
I have to change my printer by a new. I buy an Epson XP-2200 ...
A little parameters to change to make scanner functionnig but Xsane is OK.
But when I want to print ... The printer seems to work (one sheet swallow) and the sheet is empty (except littles caracters).
I try to read this forum but I don't find any similar problem.
I try a lot of things searching in FAQs & forum, (lsusb, syslog & more) but I'm stuck now.
Any ideas how 2 solve this problem please ?

Accenture offered me a COBOL job to work one of their NC contracts around 20 years ago right after being layed off by SallieMae. Fortunately, I found something local and didn't have to work out of NC.

Yes I still do (LinkedIn profile is pretty barren... only created one because my COR guilted me into it) and I don't think that Epson issue was me LOL! It doesn't look like my grammar or even someone whose first language is English of any sort.

That said... it sounds like a Linux driver issue or some sort of kernel incompatibility LOL!
