It's here! My book has made it to Barnes & Noble

The glossary in the back actually wound up getting its own blurb. Jennifer Hudak, a two-time Nebula Award finalist went out of her way to contact me about it. The idea of a blurb for a glossary tickled me so much I took it straight to the publisher and asked them to include it. It's on the website. For some reason, the publisher opted against including a page of praise for the book. Honestly, that bit confuses me.

I probably shouldn't ask, but I'm curious. I hoped you enjoyed the novella SkinsOrlando

I enjoyed it, thought it paced well, didn't try to do too much (stayed in it's form I guess is another way to state it) and it's pretty damn fun to read. I'll be going back to reread it in a couple weeks mainly because I felt I rushed myself reading it due to having so much "life" that needed to be accomplished when it arrived. I definitely recommend for those who don't have virgin eyes when they read.

One more brief bout of shamelessness. If you have read the novella would you consider going over to Goodreads and adding a rating or a short one line/one paragraph review.

Consider it my birthday present.

Somehow missed this. Glad you liked it. Hope that "life" has gotten back under control. We all face those periods where everything seems to pile up on us.

A couple new things.

Atthis Arts has reached out to me and asked me to write a sequel. I started writing of Friday and I'm at 10K words... so not bad.

2 months out the novella is rated as 4.15 stars on Goodreads which I think is really pretty good for a Mel Brooks-style comedy noir (Me, being me, I'd love a bigger N. So far, only 27 people have reviewed it. Do people still use/go to Goodreads?)

I just took part in a three part discussion of the novella with Julio Urdaneta. Julio is an international economics journalist, but he reached out after reading the novella and told me to bring the mics. In full disclosure, we met while I was a radio host at VOR. So, while he interviewed me it wound up on my platform and we produced it together. Here's Part I
