Should have been tried as an adult.

But this is typical of the system - I lived in DC for 20 years and you wouldn’t believe the ***** people had to put up with just to ensure their kids made it home from school.

The bad apples were never properly dealt with u til it was too late.
 
Ah man, loved Coleman. He was one of my heroes.
 
I remember a story about Monte I read in maybe 94? It was a young player coming into the league asking the secret to Coleman's longevity. He gave a long spiel about eating right and taking care of yourself.

The young player asked "does that work??"

Coleman responded "I dunno, I just got back from Wendy's"
 
A couple months ago i was curious who the saints got with our picks from the Lattimore trade and I wasn't happy with the results, we got totally fleeced which we already knew.

That said, I gotta stop doing that because out of sheer curiosity I looked up who went with our 5th rounder last year thinking, ehh late 5th how good could he be.

I mean come on man, why does that always seem to happen to us!

We sent a 3rd, 4th, and 6th, we received a 5th. Gadsden was drafted by the Chargers. How does this work?

Gadsen was drafted by the chargers using the pick we traded to the 49ers for deebo.

The saints drafted Jonas sanker and Quincy Riley with the 3rd and 4th and both are looking like steals.
 
I mean obviously we have no way of knowing who we would have drafted and whether they would have worked out it just sucks that 3 guys who are all looking like steals were taken in our original slot.
 
This time of the year is what I hate the most. Too much speculation and over analysis.

Genuine question, what else is there to talk about on a board like this, this time of year? It would be easy to not log in for a couple months if it’s (understandably) just people grandstanding and speculating. What’s the ideal conversation to be happening this time of year, if you do log in?

For the record, this past years Super Bowl participants were ranked 17th and 23rd in the pre-season rankings at ESPN. The Athletic had them 18th and 23rd--half of their top 10 didn't make the playoffs: Chiefs, Lions, Us, Ravens, Vikings; two more were bounced in the first round (Eagles, #1 overall, and Packers). They mean precisely dick.
 
It would have been more depressing we kept the picks and chose the Lanes, Luke's, and Sinnot's of the world so it actually worked out......... 🤷
