The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

Sounds like a sixth round kipper was pretty high on him. Said he could have been a 4th or 5th rounder.

Team captain. I will take that at this point in the draft with a developmental center.
All well and good and hope that Allgretti makes me eat my words as far as being our starting OC but I think it will be someone else we don't have on the team yet, CH. I like the reports on Gulbin though.

And anyone we plug in there will produce at a comparable level which was my point. RB has to be the easiest position to fill,. A 3rd down back like McNichols played well for us. He converted several third and very long dump offs into first downs yet he gets no respect and no decent contract offers.
We'll see, but last year CRod was our best back.

He had limitations in the passing game, but he ran hard and was productive.

Approach wise, this was a great draft for Peters. Styles and Williams are day 1 contributors. Kaytron Allen will also figure into the mix and have a role on Sundays. Gulbin and Josephs are developmental players at what will be positions of need in 2027 and have shots at contributing down the road. I think it has been a pretty good bang for the buck.

I’m somewhat surprised we didn’t use a trade anywhere in the draft.

In a draft that had a lot of trades.

Older rookie - 23. He has experience on all three interior line positions.

He is a really good anchor for pass pro. Not too athletic and will struggle with quicker defenders and moving on the run. As long as he keeps JD5 upright, I’ll take it until we find something better (assuming he wins the competition). Good pick.

The highlights they showed on ESPN looked good, especially the effort run blocking on the second level. I also see he is good in pass pro and has played both guard positions. Sounds like a good prospect to give us some needed depth on the interior of our line. I’ll take that for a late pick.

The two picks prior haven’t excited me, but the Gulbin pick is a BANGER IMO! Can’t believe he lasted this long.

Well they did say athleticism was his weakness, but that’s easily the worst RAS of anybody AP has drafted here. I guess we know why he fell.

Still it’s a position of need and he passes the character test and eyeball test in the few highlights I’ve watched.

Not ONE DB! Hope they at least one here with last pick. You dont draft based on needs but at this point in draft, at least take a swing with one player who fits best with your criteria 🙏

nope. sorry. QB here. I was just joking before...now i'm committed to this.

Is Pavia still out there or would he hurt the age curve of the team too much?
