The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

We could rename the thread, but I don't really see a problem with having a historical record of the day one followed by a historical record of day two and three. After all, these mega threads are already unwieldy, long, and all but impossible to comb through.

I mean the thing is already 444 pages long. Can you really find the post you want?

#1 were you even at the games last year?
What?

Edit: Oh, Nabers. I get it now. I thought you meant me and were asking a numbered question. 😆😆

Who cares about the post you want. They been going on and on for months now. It'll get said again

So lol Keim speak I take is they won't force it at WR.

As to meeting as to those three spots
CB: Everette
Edge: Height
RB: Emmett Johnson

If they are looking at RA-speed. Mike Washington if he falls, Singleton.

I think good shot he does too
Lost a good WR to SF. Don't know if we necessarily trade tonight. I really like Brenen Thompson later 3rd round IF AP trades down. He's got a slight frame but decent hands and lightning speed to change the game in the snap of a finger.

Depends on who is there. But if they got a few guys they like wouldn't surprise me if they traded down.

Stribling? He was the first pick in Round 2 by the 49ers. I don't know how Keim could have thought we had a chance to draft him at 71.

I don't want to trade down now that we are going to be out of the second round and heading into the 70's when we are up again.

If we are lucky we get ONE chance at #71 to grab a steal for a guy that falls.

By the 5th and 6th rounds you are just guessing about a lot of guys that have one skill or are simply athletes that haven't proven they are football players yet.

UGH. Hate the eagles getting Stowers. Dude will have a better career than Goedert. Some teams just always have good guys at a certain position. Ertz, Goedert now Stowers.

JP Acosta on Bluesky

No. 54, Philadelphia Eagles: Eli Stowers, TE, Vanderbilt

I think this is another guy who is gone a round or two too early. Stowers is more of a receiver than tight end, but he's explosive and can make catches outside his frame. This feels like PHI response to missing Sadiq
