Yes, it works better with Spartans, Sentinels, Centurions, etc. etc, but I’d rather have spears with the name Commanders than no spears at all. Especially given what currently exists, some of which I do like as previously stated in the thread.

Yeah I wouldn't put too much stock in that. After all, Dan Snyder was probably hovering in the room and had reminded the players that those AWESOME NEW UNIS were designed by his AWESOME WIFE TANYA who is supposedly an 'expert' on fashion, and that of course they would continue to get their paychecks if they also agreed that the new unis were AWESOME.

Does the name 'Commanders' have anything to do with spears/arrows? I don't think so...and I'm wondering if Harris & Co. have any clue what they're doing.

I think they know EXACTLY what they are doing.

They want to bring back as much of what hey can from the past without being able to bring back the name.

So they are twisting whatever they can in whatever way they can in order to achieve that goal. Sometimes it's going to make sense. Sometimes it's going to be a stretch.

That's exactly what I was going to say.

I don't really believe these reactions.

I have much more hope. But this is a social media creation for the sake of social media. It's possible somebody told them to say what they said.

We have a town hall with the CEO of my company once every so often. A couple of weeks before, I was in the room when a person with a camera was walking around giving cards with questions to people to read as "spontaneous employee questions."

It was all planned.

It came off really well, about 15 people knew the questions were staged.

And I will add this… if they have in fact, somehow someway figured out how to bring back the old logo under everyone’s noses…my hat is truly off to them. As long as it can’t be taken away again. In other words, they got this thing locked the F down this time.
