I’m trying to figure out where this falls in my “supermarket” likeliness scale. As likely as running into Dakota Johnson wearing a yellow tank top at her supermarket? Maybe.

I always wondered what her daddy thought of her making the "50 Shades" movies (there are 3 of them). I only saw the sanitized versions that they allowed on cable TV and was still like "woah...". (I never read the books.)

Kevin Sheehan is still trying to convince me Kirk was worth the deal the Vikings gave him. And the reason he hasn’t been as successful is because of bad luck.

Bruce screwed up the negotiations in 2015. After they tagged him, it was all over. And he’s never been worth what he has been paid ever since.

I have seen 3-4 of these with guys like Larry and now Evans and I am so tired of Art Monk erasure.

Monk had more team success and, to be fair to him, did what he did in a run-heavy era.

But the average modern fan can be forgiven for the chart above given Evans has exceeded Monk’s career regular season production in yards, and dwarfed it in TD’s. And that gap may continue to widen. Evans has a SB win as well, but again Monk had many more playoff games, more playoff production, and more overall team success (two more SB’s, to start).

But you can’t really blame the average modern fan for the above opinion. Good chance Evans also ends up a HOF’er, and he’s obviously going to spend the remainder of his waning career trying to snag SB #2. Most consistent WR of his era carries a lot of weight with some.

I agree with that, honestly should be down with “argue either way” at best and then there’d be nothing to be upset about. Definitely a modern lens bias on that list, I just wanted to lay out Evans’ resume being impressive in his own right, which for younger fans will carry more weight than it probably should. You’re definitely not wrong

Which patriots WR is the obvious choice? Moss for both the Pats and the Vikings? Am I missing one from the Pats? While Moss had a few amazing years with Brady and the Pats, I associate him with the Vikings.

Moss also played for the Raiders in that case.

Colts: Marvin Harrison and Reggi Wayne both might be better overall. I’d take Harrison over Evans in a heartbeat.

Steelers: I’d take Swann and Stallworth.

Dallas: he was a coke head, but Michael Irvin probably is better also. I’ve go to think there are other better WRs for Dallas in it’s history.

Rams: I don’t know how the stats compare but Isaac Bruce and Torrey Holt were amazing in that greatest show on turf offense.

Bills: Andre Reed?

There is definitely a recency bias, change of rules and style of game. But I don’t think Evans is quite as historically good as that chart indicates. I mean, he’s great. But he’s not like #3 WR of all time great.
