As someone said earlier, SF's delay of just outright releasing Aiyuk and holding him hostage goes to show that it wasn't all on Aiyuk for the relationship souring. This strikes me as petty af.

Usually, when a team tries to acquire a player by trade, the other team has to also desire to trade their player. The Jaguars have said that they don't want to. If you provide their staff with a powerpoint presentation about why our success would be so vital for them, that might make the difference.

Just turned 30, but seemed unneeded at this point, especially with Armstrong and JJB coming back, in addition to all the signings.

I actually really like Martin and think that he's capable of double digit sacks if given an opportunity.

I'm sure they are just trying to wait it out and find a trade partner, but I can't imagine absolutely anybody trading for that contract given his situation in SF. It's a pipe dream.

I've got a better shot at landing a date with Adria Arjona than they do of trading that contract.

Wide receiver is one of those positions though where there are a number of veterans out there that could be a 1 year bridge to 2027 if we aren't able to get one at #7.

I am just glad at this point that Aiyuk isn't in burgundy and gold. The further it goes the more focus Washington will have on signing a veteran FA and using a pick in the draft.

How about moving back from #7 or moving up from third round to second if we identify a receiver other than Tate we like?

Besides Aiyuk has not caught a pass since October of 2024 in the NFL.

He's almost like a player that retires and tries to come back to the league a couple of years later.

Because that worked out so well last year 🙄

The Cardinals not wanting to trade Marvin Harrison Jr. is also subjective in my opinion, but the teams don't really seem to care much about our opinions. It's nice to dream, but to answer the question of "what are we waiting for?", we are waiting for the Jaguars to want to trade him.

If Giants sign Jennings, I’m guessing they would more likely draft Love over Tate (if Love is available). AP needs to look at the potential ripple effect before he lets this happen.

I just don't see that happening. Titans likely grab Love (sadly) but also, the Giants have a guy in Skattebo who did very well last year. I would bet the Giants either go Downs (Kyle Hamilton) or someone on the offensive line to help keep Dart upright.

There was a guy on 106.7, think he covers Jets and Giants which sounds weird and maybe I heard wrong, but he was adamant whatever Jags are saying is irrelevant and they will move BTJ if they get a real offer. He said a 2nd would get it done easily. Also said it could be more of a draft time move on the calendar.

We don’t have a 2nd obviously. So how about a 3rd plus something next year? Or Payne + x ?

I sure hope we would be in on him if whiffing on Jennings.

This is cringe that tweet. I love what they did for the defense -- 10 out of 10. And Okownkwo is one of my favs.

But as bad as the offense was last year at THIS present time its worst.

Less depth in the O line and RB. No Ertz. No Deebo. No Z WR. Do I think this will change? Yes. But purely at this moment, it doesn't look hot.

Nah. NY has studs on the front 4 and now at LB. Harbaugh is going to get his Ed Reed, Kyle Hamilton in Downs. NY still has 2 good backs in Cam and Tracy

Well, actually I like the 2025 draft for Washington, we just didn't have enough picks.

Conerly Jr. and Amos were starters and Lane was a regular contributor. Merritt ran for 805 yards.

That's pretty good for only having 5 picks.

If we had gotten a proportional return on the 2024 draft where we had NINE picks, the team would be that much further along.

We offer a 2027 3rd, they give us Aiyuk plus a two of their 2026 4th rounders. Also rework the Aiyuk contract down to a one year pact.

Draft pick value falls to SF, but we pull in a couple of 4ths this year to ease any pressure to trade back…..
