I guess you were killing Ron from the jump, cool, I don't remember.

I had his back until I didn't. But it wasn't because I thought he was killing it. I gave him time. Most people did, don't recall many loud critics from the jump on Ron. But if you were among them as I gather you are suggesting here, congrats for being early on him.

I criticized Jay from the jump but also said he needs time to see it play out.

Only coach I didn't give time was Zorn, I wanted him gone after season 1.

I think I've been nicer to Peters than some others here. My frustration with him centers on this specific topic -- weapons for Jayden. I am letting it play out. But if all the top WRs are gone and TEs too and we are shopping in the bargain bin, my issue with him resurfaces.

I struggle with the ‘much better’ because it implies we’ve actually built a supporting cast, lol…

He did okay in '24. He got Oz, Ertz, Ekler, Noah, etc. It appears most of that was luck and prayers being answered, but for one season while taking over someone else's kitchen, he did okay. But he did a very, very poor job of stocking the kitchen again next season.

Not sure Jacksonville would give us BTJ, a 3rd and 4th for our 5th, I think only Washington is allowed to get fleeced like that.

Great idea- could get get a good center and a guard with those picks; probabaly a decent CB a decent linebacker

Back then it was just too easy to hate on anything Snyder did. I was immediately out on Rivera, even hated the Shanahan hire, then when the shit hit the fan with Shanny a few years later somehow I ended up being one of the few defending him, even though I never liked the hire, or BA, or any of it actually.

I was just surprised that you believed in Rivera as long as you did, but I guess we all knew that team wasn't going anywhere so he was probably the best we could hope for.

Now we all have higher standards in everything apparently.

Ive heard he fell out of favor with the coaching staff but why?

These rumors of a 5th round pick seem insane to me on the surface.

A first round pick going into year 3 with 2 thousand yards receiving and 12 touchdowns is worth way more than a 5th on paper so what's the deal, it cant be simply that he doesn't fit their scheme.

I’ve been preaching patience but that is quickly running out. We are down to Jennings or BTJ trade at WR, and Chig at TE. If we don’t fill both spots with those guys it’s a major, major fail. Really thought we’d get Doubs and he wasn’t even expensive.

They guy had the 8th most yards for a rookie in history.... I just don't see how his stock fell so drastically. Maybe there's more to the story.... but on the surface it doesn't make sense....

It’s fit IMO. He’s a linear, down the field guy man beater who flourished when Mac Jones came in. Lawrence is an over the middle, between the hash thrower. They don’t align.

I’d love to see him reunited with Jayden. He's young, highly athletic, could replace Terry long term.

Apparently he showed some alligator arms last year but I did watch some of those games and Lawrence loves to throw murder balls for all of his WRs, over and over dudes were getting smoked because of his late high passes.

100% he is. He has more receiving yards in 2 NFL seasons than Tate does in 3 at the college level for starters lol. He’s better than Terry too. Would be a dynamic 1-2 for sure. Hope they pull it off but I don’t think Peters will be able to. Hope I’m wrong.
