I’m a hard pass on Diggs. He’s a 1-2 year rental. We need to get out of that market.

I’d be fine with Diggs on a 1 year deal. Terry, Diggs and Aiyuk with Okonkwo and Love would be excellent next season.

Can do the big restructuring of the WR group in 27 and let 1 or 2 of these guys go. 27 draft is supposed to be an excellent draft for taking a receiver

That would be actually be a very good WR core for next year, best one for JD for sure. Add Love to the backfield and the offense looking like a potential top 10 if we can keep JD healthy. My biggest concern is Love going before #7, I don't know why but it kinda scares me that the Giants could potentially grab him up.

Ill take a CB or 2 today as well.

That's my hope, just not impressed with the Robertson signing, I know PFF scores can be snake oil-ish but the dude ranked 110th out of 114 CBs last year, too much smoke there not to be some truth to that horror show. Seems like we replaced Lattimore with Lattimore Jr.

My personal guess is if the draft happened today they go Downs at 5.

I'm not sure the linebacker question is front of mind. If they think Magee and Luvu are ready then we've got our starters. The question is what do we have as depth? Is Kain ready to step on the field? Who else do we have? Are we holding open the door for Styles or another rookie?

I would love to see a TE and WR today. As for RB, I'd prefer not to spend FA big money. I may be wrong but I think we'll be good with Bill and company. Now, if we want to swing for the fences then as the Beatles sang, "All You Need Is Love." If we can grab another DB and and another Edge that would be fine with me, too. Guard? Maybe.

Last year he was playing outside, he is better suited inside from what I've read.

We need an outside CB though, don't think Mikey is a fit outside.

I agree, my wish list is CB, WR and TE.....would be nice to add a true outside corner to pair up with Amos, and grab a safety with our 3rd round pick. My understanding is the safety position is pretty deep in this year's draft.........I haven't heard much about Hendrickson so far, I just hope he doesn't sign with Dallas like was rumored yesterday

He was apparently a model citizen in NE
He’s had a cloud over his head since Maryland. But because he can catch a football well, all the “alleged” stuff is just washed away. He’s also been a no show the last two playoff trips. Noooo thanks.

st juste to packers, 2 years/10m.
Probably unpopular but I may have done that for depth.

I liked the first day. They retained Tunsil and Mariotta and added an edge at a reasonable cost. A co-worker is a Lions fan and said the corner was good, they were forced to use him outside last season and that's why his PFF was so bad. So that was encouraging.

I got home and checked late last night, hoping for more news that wasn't there. When I got up and saw that Devin Lloyd, who was on my short list, signed for 3 for 45 I got upset. I swear if they run it back with Bobby Wagner I'll lose my shit.

Yep. As a slot CB, I think we got solid value. He graded in the mid 60s on PFF in 2023 and 2024. That’s a solid starter

Imagine how much this offense improves if we added Jennings, Doubs, and a TE, and drafted Love......I know im wishful thinking here, but on paper that's a top 10 top 5 offense if JD is healthy

I keep hearing that they are not spending on a TE so I have to believe that. I never wanted Pierce, I want a receiver who can consistently get open all over the field and make more than 48 catches. Doubs or Jennings have also been on my list but I'm sure there are others.

I have no idea what they are thinking regarding the interior OL, the LBs, the TEs and I'm taking a wait and see on the receivers as it's only been a day.

I also agree with you about Wagner, great guy and appreciate what hes done the last two seasons but I can't stomach watching another year of him getting smoked by faster more athletic guys

That was my thought too. Of course, we have no idea if we were in on Lloyd or not. But… if we weren’t, that seems more ominous, no?

It's sort of like the Biadaz move. Some think they made a mistake and are better evaluators of that spot and what they have on the roster then they are. Are we? Maybe. So no sarcasim implied with the point. I don't know. Will see.

If they have a false believe in MaGee for example. Or have designs on the wrong LB in FA or the draft, its possible.

I know they can't sign every big FA. And granted they haven't yet, but did take some big swings. So they are willing to spend, clearly.

Are these guys, Quinn, Peters, Blough, and D. Jones as dumb or even dumber than the previous regime? Maybe.

For myself, I've seen enough good moves among the bad moves and Peters-Quinn came here with good reputations that I'll give them the benefit of the doubt this off season.

I did the same for Rivera until I saw enough and turned on him. And Rivera and their FO came with much more checkered reputations. If they bomb this off season, I'll turn on this regime, too. But for me, I'll let it play out. I try to give every regime 3 years before deciding. And year 1 was very good, especially FA. Year 2 oddly their drafting improved. Their FA signings were good too -- but it lacked ambition.

That's my key for this off season, what is the ambition level. After day 1, hard to tell yet. But not bad.
