I don’t know, I think it’s been a pretty good first day of FA if I’m being honest. Oweh and Tunsil are two colossal signings.

Mariotta a sneaky good one, too. I was fearful he'd go to compete for a job or end up with the Rams. But if they compete for a championship, winning a game or two when your starting QB is out if it happens can make or break a season.

I agree. Pickett was my backup plan there. But he got more money in Carolina than Mariota got here. Well before incentives anyways.

Oweh had 30 tackles once, 25 tackles the year he had 10 sacks.

Last year he had 20 tackles and 7.5 sacks.

That averages out to 1-2 plays a game and 1 sack every 2 game, at best.

As I said earlier, at this point we only have one running back certain to come back next year so between free agency and the draft we need to sign at least 2 probably 3 backs which will be a combination of Rodriguez and two new guys or 3 new guys, either way we'll be active.

I wouldn't be certain they aren't trying to upgrade though.

For one, the tender I believe is 3 and half million this year and that only gets you right of first refusal and thats a nice chunk of change for a jag we could probably replace with a late round pick or an udfa.

And two, why haven't they tendered him yet?

If they want his services next year for the 3.5 mil what are they waiting for?
