Settle is younger than Eddie Goldman. Maybe their plan was to replace Eddie in the rotation.

Settle has been mostly a backup after he left DC.

But he is the size and leverage to play NT in the 3-4 IMO and no doubt that what Jones was looking for.

I didn't think Payne at NT as a single gapper was worth $27M.

I agree things don't look good for Johnny Newton. He looks like a guy that could be traded at draft time.
