Agree.

That’s why guys like Concepcion are iffy for me. And to some extent, Tyson. Concepcion has good value, still, because of his return man ability but he’s not a round 1 guy to me. He’ll go there possibly. But…

I don't know whether anybody noticed in Adam Peters combine press conference he said you have to look at all possibilities, trade up, trade back like if a team wants to trade up from #27 you have to prepare for all that.

Makes you wonder if SF has been calling to move up.

I don’t know that that should move him down people’s boards but if I were interviewing him I’d be figuring out why he went James Bond villain meets bobble head giveaway there

Love is working out.

6 '2 and change, long arms, wingspan, massive hands -- it tracks for a dude with a big time catch radius who makes hard catches look easy. He's also not the same flavor as someone like Denzel Boston, who is a dude I really like too -- who is a physical contested catch fiend. Tate's in that Devonte Smith-Adams style of a player.

Who would be the one of our guys in your mind who would drop to 9? I doubt they get a ton of draft capital to drop -- I'd guess a 3rd rounder at best.

For me, Love is my first guy. So trading with KC for them to get Love is not on my list of "let's do it".

I also imagine most of our guys will be off the board at 9. But 9 is really rock bottom for us as far as a list of any of the guys we are discussing.

The other thing on that is just a season ago, we were dreaming big, where a team like KC was a team potentially in the way for a SB. I am hoping to go back to that mindset ASAP.

So giving KC a weapon that would make Mahomes much more dangerous, doesn't make me feel great. Maybe I am too optimistic, but I see a day in the next 1-3 years where they could be in the SB and heck 50-50 the opponent might be KC.

If you like all 3...

It depends to me on how they see Love in that case in contrast to who is left. I am in the boat that he's another J. Gibbs. If they see him that same way, and want him and see him a peg ahead of whomever else is on the board, I'd stick and pick.

I am not a Love or bust person. But I do want them to take whomever they think is elite. And if they think Love is elite, I would not want to hand him to KC of all teams.

J. Gibbs among others has made Jared Goff look special -- imagine if Love is a Gibbs clone what he would do for Mahomes?

For me its close between Love-Tate. I wanted to see what both run. Love under 4.4 -- am sold. I need Tate is in the 4'4s and if so I might have a slight edge for him over Love but its super close. If he runs in the 4'5's I'd still dig Tate but would prefer Love over him.

I think I got both right now a hair over Downs among the ones I think will likely be there at 7.

At this point I am disappointed if we don't go Love at 7. I'm more worried someone takes him ahead of us. Looking at you NYJ and ARI. Potentially NYG.

Yeah he has the same speed as J. Gibbs, a player I recall both you and I loved in that draft -- this is another shot at getting a player that good.

All the thoughts about how more dangerous Mahomes would be with Love, pertain even more so to Jayden IMO -- especiallly with an offense that's going to lean hard to play action, etc.
