Official Game Thread - Week 14 - Commanders @ Vikings

JD out with injury again, happened 2/3 of the times he took the field this year.

Mariota with a bad pick, I have no idea what he was looking at there.

Maybe one good thing to come out of this ugly loss is fans will stop making excuses to pretend we are actually good. We suck. Last year was a mirage. The first step to fixing it is to admit that reality.

Jayden should’ve never played the rest of the season period. Coaching malpractice by our mongoloid idiot at HC.
 
It’s laughable that I thought we would win this game and actually placed a bet on the Skins to cover. Guess I’ll never learn.

Even with that pick, he actually does - by not holding the ball.

You are all up in your feelings after spending all of last season grandstanding on ES that you were right, Daniels is the greatest of all time.

I get it. It’s tough to swallow. But this coping isn’t helping. I was with you up to this point. But my dude is back for barely a half of mediocre football and out AGAIN. That’s not Dan Quinn’s fault. Dude just looks cooked.

They have Diggs and Boutte and a better run game. How many games did Jayden have a healthy Terry and Deebo this season on the field together?
 
Concern with JD as was all along is can he hold up with the thin frame he has in the NFL. Peters got the LT this team needed and Cosmi is healthy again and Conley is playing decently at RT. We dan do better than Mariotta in a backup QB in FA or draft. Peters needs to fix that. Not a fan of KK passing a ton when the run game is working quite well with who I thought the bell cow should be in CRod. He only gets better with more carries.

D needs an overhaul. FA and a few trade downs are needed in the upcoming draft to acquire more picks to fix the D and help with WR, TE, another RB but late in the draft. CRod can do the job IF KK and DQ would just give the ball to him and give him a chance.

I am not saying JD is playing great. I am saying that if you put Maye on this team - and you think suddenly the team will be playing like the Patriots?

At the very least, impossible to know. If you actually watch the games, though? The Patriots play completely differently, and that's not "Maye vs. JD." From what I can see, no - Maye would not be successful on this team.

I couldn’t even grandstand because that website got shut down. And thankfully so because the idiots running it were dictators. I’m just laughing at folks melting down about Jayden when this whole season has been a mess. The offense I actually have a lot of belief in if they’re ever fully healthy together. That oline looked elite vs Denver.

That's what good OCs do.

Kliff had fun last year when DCs had no idea what he'd be doing with JD5 and the O, and no tell on tendencies. Now they know, and it's quite easy to defend. Few things have rehabilitated struggling Ds this season like facing our O.

Maye is playing a SOS of under .400--even easier than Daniels did last year. Let's pump the breaks on this, shall we? Or not. I'm angrier than words right now, I probably shouldn't post.
 
Im curious about something and let me preface, i dont care if you think quinn should be fired im wondering if anybody thinks he may be fired if we lose out.

Its one thing to have a down year after overachieving but this is something different.

This team is rudderless right now.

Will peters consider being proactive if we lose out or is dan guaranteed at least one more shot?

lol. main part being ...one season. RG3 "turned this franchise around" as well. One good season means NOHING. Any qb can have one good season. expecially before the NFL figured them out. I can list you a dozens such qbs
