Official Game Thread - Week 14 - Commanders @ Vikings

They way CRod is running I don’t get not trying him on one of those last two plays

KK outsmarting himself on the goal line, should have let CRod punch it in. Instead he does a bunch of cute passing plays. Stupid.
Damn it kliff....pound it 4 times....easy peasy!
I know some of this believe we've seen these *situational* problems all year long.

Some look at the overall stats and say Kliff does a great job.

These small situational calls can make the difference in wins and losses.

How is it not on Deebo. It hit him in both hands and he dropped it.
Sure, Deebo should have caught it. That doesn't mean that was the highest percentage call to make to score in that situation. It depends.

Actually, I don't hate this particular situational set of decisions - but throughout this year, there have been OTHER ones that I really disliked.

To be fair Daniels threw Deebo a TD and he couldn’t wrangle it. The plan worked, Daniels threw a heat seeking missile (good to see) and Deebo didn’t bring it in. Maybe an inch or two high but still

On 4th down, could have run it in on any of the first 3 tries with CRod getting 5-10 yards a pop. KK has a tendency to get cute, especially on the goal line.

Anybody who thought this one was easily winnable and our problems were entirely injuries and strength of schedule was deluding themselves. We are what our record says we are.

Well, if you're right (it's still early) - it should be visible.

I tend to agree (I mean, the injuries DO matter, but there ARE other issues too; our level of play was too low). Personally, I think Kliff is a bigger problem than people realize. I don't think he is bad. I just think he is not good enough. I think last year Daniels pulled a Stroud and hid a lot of issues. I think the Texans fired Slowik (OC) after year-2. I don't see DQ firing KK after this year, and I'm not saying he should at this stage. However, I think we need to see how the season wraps up.

Im not sure how you can watch this shit and have any faith in our defensive minded head coach going forward.

Im not suggesting he needs to be fired because last year earned him a mulligan but i have zero faith in him at this point.

His scheme sucked in Atlanta, it sucked in dallas and now it sucks here.

I can only see the play by play right now but how do you have 3 plays from the 1yd line and pass alll 3 times when you have been running well
I don't understand how anyone is surprised by that at this stage in the second season with Kliff.
