I hate to say this, but if I am Daniels I’m not re-signing in Washington… I’m looking around at some of the other quarterbacks in the league seeing success elsewhere after leaving a dumpster fire and I’m thinking… get me out of here…

What makes you think he is going to survive another 3 years in this league? He has missed games to injury in back to back seasons.

Apparently Lattimore got an ACL tonight. This game might be worse than the Philly body bag game in all honesty. I love Jayden. But he is so frail. It was what I was worried about in the draft thread on ES. I am not sure he play his style in this league.

This is the one time where the league's ability to keep players for years and years might help us. He's got the 4 year contract, 5th year option, plus they can franchise him in year 6 and even into 7, though that gets reaaaaal pricy real fast. Considering he came into the league a little older, he's gonna want to sign a big deal early, vs letting a team jerk him around until he's on the wrong side of 30.

I don't think he'll want to leave though. Myles Garrett chilled out and signed a new deal in Cleveland, he just had to be shown the money. Jayden is gonna get a huge pay day in a couple years.

F terry, he will be gone by the time this team is actually good enough to be a consistent contender. In hindsight should have let him play out his contract and if he sat he sat.

Should have paid him like a professional team in June so he could practice all offseason and been ready for the season…

I am re-evaluating my "fire Whitt, but not anyone else stance" given the recent development.

I know you wanna have a never say die mentality, but there need to be consequences for this injury happening when the game was over.

I get what you’re saying but it wasn’t really a tackle a QB should be taking that often. A spinning tackle where he tries to brace himself on his arm and gets spun around the elbow socket. It’s why trotting out a QB who wants to run to save the day when there’s no WR talent to speak of can be a disaster because most QB’s wouldn’t have that tool and would throw the ball away more often. He was pressing and they were letting him. Hell, they begged him to essentially, by putting him out there down 38-7 when the game was over. That says “go earn back a tiny sliver of our honor so we can end the film session on a positive note”, and it’s all ego.
