2025 Keys to a Victory Contest

We finally win the turnover battle. Two strip/sacks by our D, but one is reversed. Getting that turnover deep in KC territory becomes the margin of victory until the final 3 minutes.

Bill runs for 150 yards; Rodriguez and McNichols run for 80 each; Mariota adds another 60 on the ground. Bill scores 2 TDs, the other three score one each, as the Commanders run for over 400 yards and dominate time of possession with a 45-15 advantage.

Chris Moore only catches 2 passes on 6 targets, but they're both long touchdowns, after Terry McLaurin has to leave the game in the first quarter, with what is later diagnosed as a torn left hamstring, when he is dragged down from behind by 310-pound DT Chris Jones at the end of a 60-yard catch-and-run on the first play of the game not a runon sentence. Deebo Samuel is once again ineffective due to a nagging heel injury, catching 1 pass for 2 yards, but surprising last-minute activation Trey Burks catches all 6 of his targets for 75 yards to help keep the offense moving. Robbie Chosen has zero catches on 5 perfect passes and announces after the game that due to his hands of stone he's legally changing his first name to Roberto.

Exciting young receivers Luke McCaffrey and Jaylin Lane each have zero targets, with no post-game explanation of this oversight because both the media and coaches forget to ask or talk about the two. Zach Ertz, Ben Sinnott, and John Bates also fail to register any targets, with OC Kliff KIngsbury explaining that the team wanted to keep them fresh for run-blocking in the 'new' 3-TE, 6-OL "Super Duper Jumbo Wumbo Kliffy Plus" package somehow used effectively throughout the game. When reporters point out that just looks like a short-yardage formation, Kingsbury responds, "It's nothing like that - we did something besides run it up the middle like, three different times. Maybe two. And there was no tush pushing. And it's nothing like Air Raid."

Luke returns a kickoff for a TD; and three more are called back for illegal blocks. Lane returns a punt for a TD.
Gay misses 5 of 9 extra points and the Commanders refuse to let him try a FG, with 3 of their touchdowns coming on 4th downs inside the red zone.

It's a good thing the offense is fantastically, ridiculously, outrageously, you might say unbelievably or unrealistically good, because unsurprisingly the defense can't stop Patrick Mahomes, who throws for 500 yards and 8 scores, all on breakaway long plays after multiple missed tackles, including one where Travis Kelce carries Mike Sainristil piggyback the last 15 yards to the endzone while hurdling in succession Quan Martin and Jeremy Reaves when they attempt to bring him down by diving at his feet not another runon sentence. The only 'stop' comes when Mahomes' would-be 9th TD is called back because of a questionable pushoff by Kelce over the middle, even though a replay shows that Marshon Lattimore actually ran into Sainristil while Mikey was trying to 'cover' Kelce, with Roger Goodell tweeting immediately, "See, KC doesn't get ALL the calls!" This leads to the only punt of the game, which Lane takes all the way back for what turns out to be the game-winning score.

The Chiefs, having accidentally used all their timeouts when the referee/judges mistake Andy Reid's emphatic gesticulations during multiple sideline 'discussions' with Kelce, run out of clock on their final drive of the game and are forced to have Harrison Butker try a game-winning field goal, after driving to the 9-yard line, which is blocked by Daron Payne as time expires.

For the Commanders to win, I think we have to win TOP by five minutes and win the turnover battle by two or more. I also think diversity in the run game will be key.
 
The defense gets it done in this one. 3 turnovers! That is the difference. I'm calling for 3 INTs!
 
Deebo redeems himself and has two TDs tonight to help towards the win.
 
Offensive line will have to play very well. Got to stay in manageable down and distance. Need Tunsil to be healthy tonight.

Bill has 125 and 2 Tuddies. Defense with 2 INTs. Daniels will have a solid game with 250 passing and 60 rushing. The score will be cloae but we will be in control the whole game.
 
Bobby Wagner is going to have a monster game against his old team. 10 tackles and will be involved in a couple turnovers and sacks!

Let's hope that Detroit plays tight since they must win this revenge game. Our RB's dominate the game, led by our OL.
 
Ben Sinnott is finally used by Kliff. He is lined up all over including being used in the backfield as FB and Hback. He has a bunch of big lead blocks including on TD plays and blocks as a TE along with 4 receptions and a couple rushes too.
 
Multiple TDs from Chris Rodriguez leads to a victory.
 
What is our realistic goal here? I really like these keys and would like to obtain one. Could this become, at least for a game or two, "Keys to keeping it within 20?"
