Official Game Thread - Week 7 - Commanders @ Cowboys

Losing to teams because they are good (better than this team) is one thing, but for two weeks in a row this team has been embarrassed on the field by teams that most experts don't see being better than .500 teams themselves. Analysts acting like Caleb Williams was good last week because he threw twenty screen passes, and now we get the usual Dak Prescott October glazing when they all know full well what he turns into once December rolls around and there is more on the line.

Yes you can if it wasnt that bad. Which judging by the play/tape it wasnt.

The team just wasnt going to put him back in the game.

I had meniscus surgery 3 weeks ago. He’s not jogging like that with a meniscal injury.
My point was it doesn't seem the type of pull to a hamstring that most "pull up" and grab the back of your leg pulls that keep you out for weeks and you know it immediately. Hamstrings are scary if it is that type. I agree the way he jogged off indicates it is not the bad variety. If its a knee however you may have damage but still b ok to jog lightly in a straight line. That would keep him out.

B-Mitch not being brutal, he said he “loves”
this team, but they aren’t being consistent enough.
Unfortunately, they are being very consistent. If you see the same gaffes and mistakes and missed tackles and blown coverages every week, that's the definition of consistency.

Hamstrings are tricky. For sure. I understand the trepidation. I just didnt see enough to think 3 weeks. That’d show up in his gait.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesnt even miss next week’s game. 1 at most because they want to appear overly cautious.

I’m not sweating this at all.
I really wouldn't hate it if they sat Daniels until we got some players back. I don't think it benefits him playing with fourth stringers and while I don't know that the year is mathematically over it sure feels like it.

💯 . Mariota is capable of running this offense… it’s the defense that’s killing us anyways.

I’m so discouraged right now. I really thought we were finally a good team after last year, but I was fooled by one lucky year, no different than the false hope of 2015, 2012, 2005, and 1999. From now on I refuse to believe in this team until they put together two consecutive good seasons, something they haven’t done since the Super Bowl era.

Oldest team in the league that had the most CAP Space and they SAT on it. Is that on Peters? Did Quinn have any input? (sounds familiar don't it on one level down from owner)
That should fall on Peters who I believe gave DQ a lot of input
