Without their starting tackles and with a hobbled Becton and Bozeman, the Chargers will look to establish the run with Hampton and use that to slow down the pass rush and set up the shots to Johnston, Allen and McConkey. Johnston finally put it all together and is having a Pro Bowl caliber year so far. Based on what we've seen with Lattimore against physical receivers the past year, we should avoid putting him on Johnston and let Amos check him. Let Lattimore focus on old man Allen

The team - needs to clean up penalties

The staff - had better be prepared for adjustments to issues that have plagued them so far.

The defense - Whitt had better be able to figure a way of getting to Herbert early and often. Use stunts, blitzes anything other just take advantage of the backup T's. Turnovers would follow

The offense - Call plays to avoid 3rd and longs and don't forget running the ball is your strength

Yeah they have to get to Herbert otherwise its going to be a very long day...Giants D line rattled him. Unfortunately we don't have those horses and Witt will have to overcome with scheme, I dont see that happening though.

They have terrible pass protection with their banged up online and we will probably have just as many Commanders fans their as Rams fans so hopefully the defense can feed off of that. I get the sense that DQ is also going to have more input on the D than normal. Still, even though their pass pro sucks right now, we better be willing to adjust if we are not getting any pressure with the front 4 instead of allowing Herbert to shred us.

Offensively I think that 5 will be back and ready to be elite again. I watched some film from last year and even the very best version of Mariota can't hold 5s jock whe6he finds his rhythm despite what some fake fans say.

I also disagree with those who say that 5 and McLaurin wouldn't have changed the outcome last week because our D was so bad. That's like those same guys not playing last year and us losing to the Bengals 31-24 or the Lions 34-27 and fans saying that we would've loss anyways because the O was solid but our D was so bad. No, special players will still change games. The Lions had 500 yards on us and we controlled the whole game and the same with the Bengals. It matters.

I wish Terry would play but he's probably another week away. 5 is driven and he's ready for him and us to be spotlighted again. I think that he will outplay Herbert and we come out with the victory

and the defensive scheme needs to not suck this week . . . my opinion of Whitt's defensive scheme is getting worse by the week. Even when we get pressure (raiders) WR's are WIDE open immediately . . . something is amiss!

Jayden's back and theres gonna be some trouble! Hey-na, hey-na, Jayden's back!

My son and I will be in attendance. First time to SoFi and SOOOO glad JD5 will be under center.

Im assuming there will be a lot of Washington fans there.. who else here is going? Will there be a rally?

NM Found it:

I’m starting Keenan Allen in fantasy - he’s the kind of guy that is going to feast on our defense. Possession guy, but one who will receive lots of red zone looks against Lattimore

I hope Jayden doesn't have to wear a brace in the game like he's doing at practice. I think things like that sometimes hurt more than help. Sure it's added stability and protection if you take contact but I also think that it slows you down and makes it easier for them to get hits on you

Now why did you have to go and get that song stuck in my head.

Due to the emergence of Q Johnston and the return of steady Keenan Allen, McConkey is having a disappointing sophomore season so far.

So expect him to rip us up as he gets right against this pass D and has a big evening getting open at will.

Also keep an eye out for Gladsden II, their rookie TE. He moves like a WR and has already been trusted in high leverage situations by Herbert and the staff. I’d be shocked if he doesn’t score on us by making one of our LB’s look silly over the middle. I may start him in a deep dynasty league, even.

I'm very optimistic about a Washington win this weekend. I think we're going to bring it.

Im not feeling it. Nothing has clicked yet and Chawagers are a really really good team. Their O-Line is banged up ao it will be close but no cigar.

Redskins 23
Chargers 31

Flying into the DMV taking the 4th Gen fans to have a long weekend with their GGPs the 1st Gen fans. 2 Commanders and 1 Skins Jersey packed. My kids are psyched to get to watch the game with their 89 and 90 year old GGPs and Great Aunt and Uncle who are coming over to watch as well.

Good guys find a way to pull one out in the end and my fam goes wild.

Skins: something
Chargers: less
