I think you are thinking the Giants game. Don't recall one versus GB.

There is a lot to like about this team. But whether it was last year or so far this year, creating turnovers isn't one of them.

Yeah, it could have been the Giants. I don't recall. All I remember was a moment of YAY! followed by a longer moment of BOOOO!

Starters have one more week of Camp (September) and then we'll see who they really are in October. Best hope I have.

Always been a fan of Armstrong, good to see him have a great game. Same with Paul who played well when giving the opportunity. But really concerned that the coaches decided to make Coleman inactive.

This was the Packers game in reverse, the final score does not reflect the total domination in all 3 phases They killed them in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

I was not expecting much from MM, he has hardly played or practiced. But he was great, without the drops his numbers would have been really good.

I have no idea why this defense can not force turnovers, even with that kind of pressure. Just so maddening.

Between the pressure and Geno throwing so many picks early this season, I am surprised, too.

I've been thinking the D line will be better than some expect and expressing why this off season. I am surprised though the secondary isn't better -- especially with the pressure coming from this D line.

Absolutely, I've been guilty of it too, not so much of the Jets. But I think the Giants have some talent, but tough to be good with a mediocre QB and a bad O line.

The same point is relevant to this team. The O line needs to stay healthy and improve over the season. The really good teams tend to have good o lines.

I am surprised though the secondary isn't better -- especially with the pressure coming from this D line.

I thought the secondary was really good yesterday--before everyone got hurt and the game was a blow out. There was the one 45 yarder on the first play, but I didn't think the Raiders did much until the 4th quarter

It seemed spotty to me when Smith had a second to throw. I don't think it was much of a challenge with a banged up Bowers and basically one receiver with Meyer albiet Tre Tucker had the game of his early career coming out of nowhere.

For as much as he was under seige, Smith had almost 300 yards, 3 TDs, and no picks.

A lot of good play yesterday from the team, the seconday to me was at best OK against an underwhelming offense -- but i'd grade them lower considering context because the D line should have made their job much easier.

No picks is a pretty bad sign considering the QBs we've faced. All 3 of these guys like to throw some picks. We got nothing though. Russell Wilson has 3 INTs and a fumble in his other 2 games. Smith has 4 picks in his first 2 games. Jordan Love led the league in INTs last year until Kirk Cousins had his ridiculously bad end to the season.

In fairness, I bet over half his yardage was in garbage time when we sat our secondary and played prevent.

There have been times when our secondary looks lost or blown, and that's a concern. But when our line dominates, and we're picking up all kinds of sack numbers, I figure it's got to at least be partly due to better coverage on the back. Just need to clean up the mistakes and plug that gap that teams exploit on the seam.

Geno Smith did a pretty good job of extending a few plays that looked like sacks. Even completed a few passes while running for his life. Could have been even more sacks with a less mobile QB.

Man that was a nice surprise yesterday. Probably could’ve hung 50 on them without a couple silly mistakes. Mariota is the perfect back up QB for this team. Keep him at all costs.

Also Wagner is just an ageless animal! Hell of a day for him. Defense played really well overall until that 4th when the game was in hand so that’s to be a little expected.

That McNichols TD was the best RB TD in years.

Love Conerly being thrown into the fire so early this season facing these elite d ends.

Still not sold on this defense yet. Want to see them against a high octane offense but the main concern is the lack of turnovers. Definitely need a game breaker there. Our Michigan honey badger can still be that guy. Overall, great game. Sucks that we are probably facing Kirk next week so it’ll be a tougher game against the Falcons now but let’s get that dub and head out to LA 3-1!

Thinking the team needs to play Enter Sandman every time Lane goes back to field a punt.

Yeah, there was some concern there. When it's the scramble drill, there were often WRs who were uncovered or had acres of space.

I'm looking to see how we address a couple of concerns moving forward this week.

-Will the team look at some kickers? Gay hasn't looked fabulous. Lol. He somewhat redeemed himself later in the game, but his misses against better competition could have come back to haunt us.

-With S Harris injury, do we go get a safety? I'm not sure the extent of his injury, but I'd have to say 4-6 wks out is the best prognosis. So, it stands to reason he goes to IR and we sign a player (is Simmons on APs radar?).

-WR. Here's another area that may need to be addressed as TM was injured (quad?) and we already have N. Brown missing time. Hopefully, TM is nothing major and we get Brown back, but right now Samuel is the only true threat we have in the passing game. I think Lane will eventually get there and Moore has been a minor contributor, but I hope the FO is not going to get too comfortable with that.

-On a side note, the changes to the OL was the best performance our OL has had this year. I hope they continue to go with that look until we can get Cosmi back. But a huge shout out to Chris Paul who had a helluva game.

Im hoping some of the injury resting was due to us having such a big lead. Defense played really well until we let up for garbage time and our top CBs were out. But as a whole still played well. Hopefully we get guys healthy, we are getting hammered by injuries to start this year out. My question now is when do we get Cosmi back since we are approaching the end of the 4 week window? Will be a huge help to get Cosmi back but havent heard anything.

That’s sad for the Jets. They’ve spent 3 1st round picks on OL this decade
