Mentioning Troy Aikman in another thread, got me thinking. What players have you hated as a fan because they were on one of the Skins major rivals, but otherwise would have like in different circumstances?

Ones that jump to mind right away:

1. Randall Cunningham. I LOATHED him. Basically because he gave the Skins fits. In my mind, the prototypical dual threat QB. Ahead of his time and criminally underrated in NFL history.

2. Troy Aikman: Imam always gonna hate the QB for Dallas. Ultimately
a decent quarterback talent wise whose football IQ and leadership made him a very good QB. He is now my favorite analyst and would love to have a beer and talk football with him - though I cussed him a lot back in the day.

3. Mark Bavaro: I got in trouble at age 10 for using language that was unacceptable in my home toward him one game where he was killing the Skins (again). I hated that guy. Incredible for a few seasons, who had HOF talent, but injuries kept him from reaching his potential. Much respect to him now, but 10 year old me says stick-it Bavaro.

Here's one from each NFCE team that immediately comes to mind:

1. Michael Irvin - the refs always let him rape out DB's like the much smaller Darrell Green without penalty yet throw the flag on our DB's

2. Lawrence Taylor - besides the Captain Obvious Joey T hit, LT owned our teams at a higher level than Micah Parsons.

3. Brian Dawkins - he ruled the Eagles backfield for years killing us with his leadership and big plays (Honestly similar to Bavaro and Reggie White, in many ways I respected his abilities).

They were old school. Today it is Jalen Carter bar none. He is a scumbag of a person and player. I hope every week his opposition bait him into spitting at them or doing other stupid things and get him suspended.

Andrew "Dirty" Waters. I mean c'mon it's in the name!

^Andre and yes that's a good one for sure

I definitely hated Troy Aikman and to some degree still do. Not only did he own us in his heyday but he has never been one to give us any credit even on the rare occasions we have played well against Dallas.

Can’t stand that guy.

He's not a player, but Bill Parcels was pretty darn hateable.

I hated that he was an opposing coach but I appreciated his style of play too much to hate him. I loved his punch you in the face attitude and hated them always going for it on 4th and short.

Deion Sanders, hated him as a 49er and a cowboy because he was so good. Hated him even more when he was a Redskin because he obviously didn't care about anything but the money.

I can name a few from back when I first started watching and we were winning SBs.

Ronnie Lott. Hated that guy but imagine if he was on the 80s Redskins. He could play both CB or safety and light dudes up. The original ST but the rules didn't stop him from using his talent.

Reggie White, he was an actual minister while also being the most unstoppable defensive force of his generation. JG would have been his best friend but instead we had the almost equally talented crackhead Dexter Manley, until we didn't.

After playing the raiders in the regular season and then the SB loss who didn't want Marcus Allen? The dude was totally unstoppable.

Every cowboy that ever lived
