From what I can tell, Jaylin Lane with the 1st ream offense he was in the slot next to Deebo. When the 2nd team was in, he then switched to Outside WR. Wonder what's going to happen Week 1 if Terry and Noah are still out. Will he be getting way more reps at Outside WR than the team ideally wants but his speed might make it somewhat ok?

My guess is if Terry and Noah are still out, you're going to see a lot of WRs playing a lot of different random positions a lot. They'll move everybody around a ton. I think it would be very unconventional how they lined up.

My gut tells me either Terry or Noah will be back by then, and if Peters didn't think so, they probably would have made a few more moves at WR by now.

Could be an advantage in regards to facing opponents? But I would prefer to have Terry back.

I don't think it would be an advantage, I think it would drive Kliff crazy. He had to manufacture a WR2 all last year because it was Terry and a bunch of dudes.

They traded for Deebo so it would be Terry, Deebo and a bunch of dudes.

If it just morphs into Deebo and a bunch of dudes, Kliff has got to be thinking, "deja vu all over again."

Can they make it work? Yes. Will it be harder? Yes. Will it also mean they will have to depend on JD5's legs more? Yes. Will it also expose Deebo more because his targets will go up? Also yes.

Nothing particularly good comes from Terry and Noah being out.

However, I have faith in Quinn, Kliff and JD5 to make it work to some extent if they have to, at least for a period of time.

Our outside WR situation sucked last pre-season too, I think we had to go down to final cuts and needed waiver priority at the start of the season to grab Noah Brown right? Feels like all the guys being traded right now are mostly still long shots to make the roster they're going towards.

Teams aren't really making the hard decisions with the WR room yet.

Now I wear my ST21, Jacoby, Grimm and Monk jerseys and feel good about it. Side benefit: they are all Redskins jerseys.

I got a Cooley for Christmas one year, but we were already a cursed team

I found a 21 Terry Allen at a thrift shop and had a friend sew Taylor on it. With I still had that one.

It's unlikely you have the same luck as I did. My ST21 was just the last of several failed attempts. I don't remember what they all were, but they were several that I bought, and then "poof" player was gone. I definitely had a Stephen Davis jersey, who was my favorite player on the team for a number of years. That one was one that worked out ok. Spurrier was just an idiot and didn't know how to use him so he was not re-signed and ended up being a big part of the Panther's making the SB the next year.

I was so mad at Norv for not realizing he had a really good back in 1998. I remember Terry Allen (I think?) was out for a game, and Stephen Davis was going to be the primary back due to injury, and Norv said something like, "well, he's faster so we'll feature more outside runs."

And I was like, "Norv, you doofus, he might be faster but he's not Barry Sanders."

It finally clicked for Norv in 1999 when he named Davis the starter and he had a great few years until Dan/Vinny/Snyder managed to not re-sign the best player on the team because they wanted to be stupid.

I honestly don't know what happened to mine. I can't find it anywhere. I didn't give it away, I didn't throw it away, but I can't find it. I think somehow it got eaten by 3 moves since I bought it 25 years ago. It makes me sad.

My biggest intentional jersey regret was getting rid of my ST36 rookie jersey. When he flipped numbers, I stupidly donated my ST36 (heart was in the right place, I wanted a skins fan who couldn't afford a Redskins jersey to get one for free) and then bought 2 ST21 jerseys.

Now I wish I had the rookie jersey back. Sigh. Oh well. I hope somebody got my ST36 and still has it to this day.

Still have my ST36 replica jersey.....I believe it was a customized option on the website.... ordered it right after the HOF game!! I knew he was going to be a player right then!! Thinking of framing it even though it's a replica.
