I'm not sure who this is or what his source would be, but unless I'm mistaken, Patrick Freiermuth is a TE for the Steelers, who just paid big money and traded for DK Metcalf, and I would find it odd they would trade for Terry and then give him the same contract.

So, not sure where this is coming from, but it doesn't feel like it's real.

Also, from other reporters, Peters hasn't really been listening to offers.

I still blame the team. Trent was not only our best player but also one of the best LTs in football for years before and since he left. Yeah he wanted out of the dysfunction (and who could blame him?) but the team should have done everything they could to keep him. I might count losing Trent as Ron Rivera’s biggest failure here, though sadly typical of Dan Snyder’s tenure.

I think this is a lot worse. Arrington never deserved the fan adoration he got. If fans would’ve seen what he was like behind the scenes, a selfish diva who didn’t care about anything but Lavar, they wouldn’t have adored him.

Terry has always been the real deal. A team guy who would do anything he was asked if it helped the team have a better chance of winning. That’s why his actions the past few months are getting such a strong reaction.

He had the interception against Carolina that really jumpstarted the run in 2005. But most of the time he was freelancing--which he openly admitted to on his horrid radio show. He cost us a game against the Giants because he decided to rush the passer and didn't cover the fullback (I think it was Jerrod Bunch, yes THE Jerrod Bunch) who went for 20-30 yards to set up the game winning FG. Then he took his playbook to NY (which was funny, because he had no idea what was in it.) Marvin Lewis said he played like a chicken with his head cut off. Selfish, asshat of a player and person.

He is likely the type of player that Adam Peters would not have drafted.

Where the player is in terms of his emotional development and native intelligence has never been of greater importance now with the cap where you can no longer sweep big player swings and misses under the carpet and win.

I can also guess that Peters would have kept the pick at #2 and taken Chris Samuels and then kept the original pick in the 20's for a player at another position that was high on the board but had fallen from where he was projected to go.

I don’t think he had an interception in the 2005 regular season, but he did have one to set up a touchdown in the wildcard game that year, which was probably the most impactful play of his career.

He had one season with 11 sacks, a season with 6 forced fumbles, a few seasons with 70+ tackles, but overall he wasn’t very productive, especially considering his athletic gifts.

The writing was really on the wall for him when he couldn’t get along with Joe Gibbs’ staff, he didn’t last long in the league after that.
