Also going to say Jon Allen and Payne were, or at least it felt like they were, average at best against the run. Allen was also really small last season. He said he went down to like 285 I think? To try and give him some extra slipperiness when rushing the passer which also didn't work.

Still surprised he got a pay raise in Minnesota, but I guess good for him?

I think Kinlaw is gonna thrive in this system, he’s an intriguing signing. He’s a massive human and I think they’ll simplify what they ask him to do. If (yes if) he plays disciplined on early downs our front should wreak havoc on passing downs.

There’s a lot of speed and quickness upfront b/n Payne, Wise, Luvu, Miller, Armstrong, Kinlaw, and Newton. That’s a lot for an offensive line to handle, who do you double? And they’re big! Plus the secondary is much improved.

Kinlaw is AP's most intriguing acquisition thus far. Many criticized the move. Kid is a former 1st rounder with super physical skills and size. If he balls out would be huge for our defense. Very eager to see how him and Lattimore play this year.
