Watching some Pat Bryant just now he reminds me some of Tre Harris, Almost the exact same size. Not fast but looks faster than his timed speed when it comes to long speed.
Physical WR with some sneaky ability to catch the deep ball in spite of his speed. He has PFF's highest blocking grade for WRs. 1.8% drop rate which is insanely good.
I'll get to watching that part of his game. but love the Juan Jennings comp who was one of my late round favs in that draft and obviously Peters likes that type.

Carr wasn't injured-. I picked- Sanders at 21 for Pittsburgh. No trade takers. I wanted a future first and something more depending on trying to figure the teams next year possible draft area. My plan for Pittsburgh was to Pick Slough or Dillon Gabriel later and have draft capital for next years draft to trade up and get a QB when there was more potential

He's right, that's why to me its not crazy if someone like Harmon falls to 29, etc to grab a Dt even though everything being equal for this team I'd rather have an edge

I don't know that Sanders is going QB2, but I'm betting minimum 4 QBs in the 1rst round.
I'm not buying Jeanty to the Raiders. I'm not buying NYG or Cleveland passing on QBs.
I think if Pittsburg wants a QB, they need to come way up to top 7/8 or they'll be screwed.
I can't believe they let both QBs and their RB leave. Building that team with the hubris of winning seasons.

While everybody has their sights set on EDGE, could CB be a sleeper pick for the Eagles? A look at this CB class and who I like.

Just now came across this article since we're on the topic of CB's currently. It seems we're like minded.
Before diving into the 2025 cornerbacks, I wanted to start with what we know about drafting corners. It’s hard. Really hard.
Here’s how hard:
- CB has the lowest hit rate in the 1st round at just 47% (average for all players is 65%)
- It also has the highest 1st round bust rate (tied with WR) with 26% of 1st rounders being below average pros
- Of all positions, teams are worst at picking CBs, drafting CBs in the wrong order by an average of 4 spots (for example, the 1st CB taken turns out to be the 5th best CB in that class)
- Only 3 times in the past decade was the top CB taken the right one (Quinyon Mitchell appears to be the 4th) – since 2015, we’ve had Devon Witherspoon, Denzel Ward, and Derek Stingley but also Deandre Baker, Jeff Okudah, and Trae Waynes at the top pick while teams passed over guys like Trent McDuffie, Jaire Alexander, Jamel Dean, Byron Murphy, and DaRon Bland
- On average, only 6 “above average” CBs come out of the entire draft each year and it’s one of the heaviest drafted positions with 32 drafted
Now on to the 2025 CBs.
Another RB, wow. Tahj Brooks and Rocket Sanders are enigmas to me. They both are good athletes for their size, who produced. And can score some big runs if they get to that 2nd level. But they also come off to my eyes somewhat sluggish as to that initial acceleration. Ollie Gordon is also is in this genre. Am surprised they haven't met yet with Monangai because he's of this style too and also can really accelerate once he gets going and is a heck of a pass blocker. Monangai is my fav among these players (later round power types) even though he's the lesser recognizable name.
Considering all these divergent styles they are looking at, it comes off that its not just speed they want, they want a better back than Robinson regardless of the style and if they add picks it feels like they could double down and take two.
At a minimum, it feels like they are 100% taking a RB.

Daniel Jeremiah and company believe this is a weak OT class overall, but I have a slightly different take. While I agree the Blue-Chip types are few, which is not out of the ordinary to me most years, what's unique about this class is IMHO there seems to be a bunch of Day 3 dudes that could greatly outperform their investment. I've watched most of this group - sure I'm missing some too and think they're all draftable prospects.
I also think Aireontae Ersery, Ozzy Trapilo or Anthony Belton would all be fantastic RT considerations for us especially Ozzy and Belton in a trade down scenario I don't see Ersery getting out of the 1st.

Its the right draft to do it if we are being honest. That or WR if the right ones fall. I would still prefer to trade back. But it takes two to tango.
Editing this to say this is the first draft in 25 years that I have not really put a whole lot of effort into it. It is just not the same without ES. And I have been really crushed with getting my garden together this year. As I am aging I am finding myself having to set priorities. It seems there is less and less time than when I was younger.
