Devin Thomas Cut

Whoops...guess ol' DT wasn't the "superstar in waiting" that some wanted him to be.

classic million dollar body and ten cent head, I knew he was screwed when he went on a college game road trip on his first weekend off AND HE STILL DIDNT KNOW THE BASIC PLAYBOOK. he just doesnt have the desire to become an NFL WR right now, he is living the life, and sadly I can see him ending up as a hanger on in someones "crew".

Ryman, I could actually see him ending up in your neck of the woods. A bigger field and a head start towards the LOS could make him dangerous in the CFL. Then again, you're probably right.....he could end up in Hollyweird playing male model types or playing Rihanna's boy toy in music videos.

man, why wouldnt we get him back? we too low on the wire? HES TALL!!

dude...we gots AA...and he's haulin in 0.1111111 TDs a game!!!! no **it! this guys the bomb!!!!! every fans eff'in dream!!!!! a real difference maker!!!!

nahh..I was reacting to the mischaracterization of the argument I made. you know I built a better case that just height.

you know...Goaldie....I labored for about 10 mins deciding whether or not to take the bait....:tantrum:......

hey...BigMike has it right on AH and AC....so the cosmic ledger is leaning to positive....

as for DT....not every big cat is cut out for the NFL.......

and yea.....it was funny..... even if charged to my expense account.... :) .....

I know. I actually agree with much of your argument, just not as it pertained to DT.

yeah he cold really benefit from coming up here, edmonton has a good relationship with the skins (its where you guys got Mike Sellers from the first time) and the eskimos did help kelly washington and jason tucker have a decent career. he just doesnt strike me as a guy who is willing to do what it takes, its sad because man he has some serious physical talent.

I guess Carolina like Washington doesn't need a big, dynamic playmaking wide receiver?

That is how Devin Thomas described his sorry ass isn't it?

This guy is Michael Westbrook without the one 1,000 yard season.

And the right hook! :bucktooth:

yea...it's so much better for the Skins that DT was a failure!!!

It's not the fault of Yusuf or any other fan that DT would rather hang with Fantasia than read and NFL playbook.

Someday, when he's pushing 50 and wakes up one Monday morning realizing he still has 20 years of working at the local used car emporium staring him in the face, Devin Thomas is going to wish he hadn't used his winning lottery ticket in life to light a Tiparillo back in the day.

Then again ... maybe he won't ... someone will surely come onto the lot that morning who will want to hear all about ol' DT's awesome NFL ride.

lmao!!!!!!!

Ummm...nobody is HAPPY he was a failure, we're just pointing out that he was INDEED a failure.

cmon now Cranky...sure there were folks who are glad he failed. you can read it in their posts. just like there are folks for legit and illegit reasons who wnated AH to fail.

but...he's gone. an asterisk...if that...in the history of the Skins.

Anyone who is happy DT failed is not a Redskins fan. Think about what you're implying...

I think it was less about DT failing as an I told you so to those who were insistent it was a fool hearted move to release him. Who in their right Redskins' fan mind would want any super talented, physically imposing receiver to fail in this organization!

Tsk.

This from a man who has been known (on rare occasion of course) to chide others for reading motive into his posts?
