There are air fryers that can do everything a toaster oven or microwave can do - they even look like toaster ovens but have convection fans to air fry. I had one of those but traded it in for a true air fryer (with fryer bins). It is no where near as versatile but I think it does a better job as an air fryer.

Previous owners lined one wall of the kitchen with this wood to support a water bed upstairs. I could build a shelf but this wood is like it came from the Petrified Forest. Hard as a rock and a bitch to drive a nail or screw into.

Even though our country kitchen in this old house is pretty big we have limited counter space. For this reason we still don't have an air fryer. I'm sure I could find a spot if I understood it better. For the same reason we got rid of the toaster oven, can it work like that to reheat a slice of pizza?

I have the very first version of a FoodSaver, it's on top of my microwave, pulled down and used as needed. I use my toaster oven most.

I never had the flu but got Covid twice. Both of my cases of Covid were mild. It’s weird, my wife can be in bed sick and I can kiss her and be near her and I still don’t get sick other than when she brought home covid after a work trip.

So I had my kids and their significant others down to my house from Friday through Tuesday. They're wonderful children successful intelligent motivated Etc. They cooked, did the dishes bought stuff at the store Etc. Didn't expect me to take care of everything. We went out to some great dinners, went to the beach and really had a nice 5 days together. I had not seen either one of them for two years. My daughter lives in Tel Aviv and my son lives in Williamsburg Brooklyn.

But God damn I've been busting my ass trying to get my house back in order the way that I like it!

I had to wash all of the sheets from both beds and make the beds again. I had to wash 10 towels (5 bath and 5 beach) as well as 10 smaller towels (bath and kitchen). This is wash dry and fold. I had to rearrange the kitchen back the way it should have been. They did the best they could

Great trip and great to see them but what a PIA!

The wind was blowing so hard this morning it knocked over my 36" blackstone griddle, like flipped it completely over on the top with the legs straight up in the air. And it was raining, which also sucked.

It got windy and raining hard here in Tennessee at about 3am so we didn't get much sleep so to make up for it I slept until almost noon.

Of course, I haven't worked since June 5th 2021 so that does seem to happen sometimes.

I took the backroads home and came across a tree in the road. I was able to get by on my side, just sticks, then I stopped and tried to remove the bigger logs. Of course this is Mt Airy so the next to 2 drivers who came by also got out to help me. The rest of the drive looked like a war zone with branches all over the road.

Last night they were saying a min of 5 inches of snow region-wide starting Wed. Now this morning TWC says zero. ZERO! Amazing. Accuweather is still saying up to six inches though. I bet there's a bit of a rivalry between accuweather and TWC. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out.

Edit: Chesapeake Bay bridge closed last night apparently due to high winds, but reopened. I bet it closes again later today.
