Official Game Thread - NFC CHAMPIONSHIP - Commanders @ Eagles

I can't help but think of the bad taste in his mouth that Adam Peters wants to get rid of. The last time his team visited Philly for a championship game, they lost Brock Purdy on the opening series of the game, as well as their backup, Josh Johnson. They basically played the Eagles with ten men on offense. I hope we kick them in the teeth.

I have never wanted to win a game as badly as this one - ever - in my nearly 63 years on this planet. I include the Super Bowls in that. This is the biggest game of my life because getting to a Super Bowl in year 1 of this epic do-over would represent something we haven't had since Gibbs I. I want it so bad. These guys deserve some glory. And I despise everything about Philadelphia.

Is it too early to start drinking? Asking for a fan base waiting 30+ years to get back to the NFCCG
No.

Totally agreed, John. I am right there with you. I honestly think if we somehow manage to escape Philly with a win, as crazy as it sounds, the Super Bowl result would be somewhat irrelevant. Nobody would be able to take an NFC Championship away from them - ever.

Winning this NFC championship is the most important game left to me. Just like when the Caps won the cup, beating Pittsburg in the playoffs was the most important part of that run.

I've been holding back on this but I decided to share it.

The other night I had a dream. It came down to the last few seconds. We were around the 25 or 35 yard line. Easy field goal. The kicker shanked it hard to the right.

I think they’ll throw another Hail Mary before letting Gonzales decide the game again 😬🤣

Sounds more like a nightmare!

Who can ACTUALLY sleep tonight?!? We need an insomniac thread for this one. 😂

It's crazy because we probably all agree that this season is already way beyond a success. Jayden Daniels is already beyond what we could have hoped for. The entire organization from top to bottom has been the complete opposite of the nightmare that was the Dan Snyder era.

With that all that said, there remains actual NFL history that can be made if the season continues beyond tomorrow and I think that is an added layer to wanting to win this game. Whether they win or lose, this organization & team are in great hands for the foreseeable future, however there are two potential historic moments that can only take place starting with a win tomorrow.

I want to see history made.

I *intellectually* understand and even agree with the 'we're playing with found money' argument, but emotionally I want to scream when I hear it. Win this game and get to the Super Bowl!
Damn right!

Exactly, especially against a hated division rival and all this and that about how great Saquon is all week.
