I think the thought process is more about having to listen to Iggles fans go on and on about this excuse and that excuse. This would be a handy one if we win against a Hobbled Hurts.

I don't get this mentality. No one cares that the 2005 and 2012 Redskins both had legitimate shots for SB appearances if their QBs were not hobbled/knocked out due to injury. The only thing they remember (somewhat) is who was in the SB, who won it, etc.

One of my Google alerts this morning was an article about how Hochuli is a huge Eagles fan and the fix is in with the zebras.

That's what has me worried.

What we need to do is find a way to seriously outscore them, so that the inevitable bad calls (or non-calls) won't hurt us.

I am encouraged to see the previously penalty-prone Commanders becoming more disciplined as the games go by. During the regular season we averaged 6.5 penalties for 56.5 yards per game, with the worst being at home against ATL with 13 for 108 yards. So far in the playoffs it's been 4.5 penalties for 32 yards average. Much better IMHO.

In other words, I've heard what I would consider weak innuendo masqueraded as bulletproof (or at least very strong) evidence.

The Eagles have won a lot of games over these past couple of years.

If he is an actual Eagles fan, that's interesting. When I heard the Eagles were 6-0, I looked at I think one of the games, and I saw a good amount of penalties on the Eagles. I don't know, I guess it's hard to tell. Will there be biased refs? Of course. That's ALWAYS the case. That is why Jerry Jones has all of the broadcasters (and probably refs?) up to a suite before games to enjoy a huge spread of food and drink. They love it.
