A little surprising but my guess is that the feeling is that Washington has been outperforming its talent level for quite some time and the li get it goes on the higher the likelihood it comes to a screeching halt.

I think that’s exactly right on the basis of the Vegas odds - ie reversion to the mean and Vegas looking to hedge their exposure and make it worth betting on the other side (ie betting on Washington). Will be interesting to see if the spread moves further.

And honestly the bigger the spread the easier to make money betting on our team

Interesting note from the Eagles-Rams game that Bram just dropped on Keim's podcast...

The Eagles had 3 scoring plays that averaged 60 yards a play - 2 runs by Barkley and one run by Hurts.

On all other offensive snaps combined, they averaged UNDER 3 yards per play.

Considering that Hurts will be in a knee brace, id be surprised if he will be fast enough for another 70yd TD this week. Barkley will get his, but if they can limit the explosive stuff like the did against the Lions, and test Hurts to beat us with his arm, this could be a bad day for the Iggles.

Hurts is a liability at this point. I love it.

He is. For some reason though that makes me feel no better. I could see him throwing for freaking 115 yards and them somehow still pulling it off.

I don't get this mentality. No one cares that the 2005 and 2012 Redskins both had legitimate shots for SB appearances if their QBs were not hobbled/knocked out due to injury. The only thing they remember (somewhat) is who was in the SB, who won it, etc.

At this level I don’t think excuses matter anymore. An NFC Championship trophy doesn’t have an asterisk. I’ll take any competitive advantage I can get, nobody with a brain would discount this run if hurts is limited after what we’ve already been thru

I've seen this a couple of times now, over here Philly, Buffalo and Kansas are almost the same price. Which I find surprising, they must rate us higher than Vegas
