Commanders News (Social Media)

Actually 4 All Pro's is probably more than the entire 25 years Snyder owned the team. I'm pretty sure there were only 2 or 3 and a couple of them were special teams players.

Can anyone name a Redskins All Pro position player from 1999-2023? I don't believe even Trent Williams had any. Wrong team, he's old and gets them all the time now lol.

Brandon Scherff did one year.

I thought Tress had an All-Pro season. Am I mistaken?

Edit: just looked it up. Way was 2nd Team All-Pro 2019.

Kind of wild that Lavar was a multiple time All Pro.

It's definitely interesting.

It's an uphill battle for dudes who are drafted late to get notoriety and attention. They have to really earn it in the NFL level. For dudes drafted highly, they enter WITH a rep. They have to not blow it. Even now, Chase Young gets some hype; he was on a list I saw recently as a key potential FA pickup for a team that needed EDGE help. I get that he did better recently, but... if that was a lower-drafted guy with his history, I don't see that type of hype right now, I don't think.

LaVar had a freakish speed and size combination. He just didn't look before he leapt a lot of times, I think that was his main drawback. His athleticism gave him some serious highlights, and his draft position combined with that kept him hyped I think.

That was fun.

Thank you. Here's the '72 bandwagon trying to start - you might recall the '72 season - turn the volume up:

"Runnin' like a champ!"

I'm surprised he didn't flood out the LTD with all the gas pedal pumping.

Tony was talking to Wilbon a couple of weeks ago about bringing out the bandwagon. I guess he couldn't get his started.
