He WAS better than this. In a different scheme on a different team and before both hamstrings turned completely into wet tissue paper.
 
DQ should raise hell about OPI while heading to the locker room; give the refs something to think about. Now that they've got 2 calls against Lattimore, they're going to go to that well frequently in the 2nd half. Let's hope the officials call offensive pass interference for a change. Evans is obviously doing it, without penalty.

I’m not worried about him being used correctly, we have a real staff now. No more trying to use Josh Norman exactly opposite of how he made his name, etc. like in the past.

I am worried that he doesn’t trust his hammies and doesn’t have the athletic arrogance a DB needs to succeed right now. The position is hard enough in this league.

Unfortunately, the refs are not going to call offensive PI against a future first-ballot Hall of Famer playing at home in the postseason. Not unless he is playing against a DB of similar quality. And Darrell Green ain't walkin' through that door.

I don't know, I love how we're stopping the run.
Would hate to switch it up and ruin that.
My money is on lattimore recovering in the second half.
 
Heisenberg, can you provide the reasoning behind your optimism regarding Lattimore? I am genuinely curious about what you might have seen that makes you think he can be effective in the second half?

Because he's a highly talented corner and they usually have short memories.
 
Thanks for the response. I hope you are right but my money is unfortunately on Evans. I wonder if Mariota has ever played any DB? :p
 
I'm not usually a fan of the "too small" gesture, but I can make an exception this time, Dyami
 
Dyami really making a case for sticking around next season as a role player/fourth WR type. We still need two better WR’s ahead of him on the depth chart to go with Terry though.

Yeah, he's been getting a lot of screens this season. Ideally, would be depth on a good team. I think a lot of NFL receivers could fill his role through. Kliff is the best OC here since Kyle.
 
Bucs DBs make plays, Washington scores a FG. Washington DBs crap the bed, Bucs score a TD. Rinse and repeat. Game over.
 
Not really a playoff caliber defense despite some clutch stretches, though we knew that. Not talented enough.

Jayden’s gonna have to take this game over
