Tell the Truth Sunday- Philadelphia Eagles Edition

NO SHIT...I was texting with my mom (who made my Redskins blanket) and we damn near both fell out!!!

FAMILY THING, WE LOVE THIS TEAM!!!

When Daniels threw the tip drill pick just before the two minute warning I said, "We lost."

Five seconds later, I declared, "Okay, let's hold them to a field goal and get a miracle.

And we forking did.

better to be lucky than good I suppose.

Hopefully we can knock the QB and probowl FS out in our next few games. Lucky Smith, one of the most reliable WRs in the league, drop that pass.

Healthy Philly we lose again.

But surviving 5 turnovers is hard in any situation.

Heavy resilience there, the culture change is real, not jus talent.
Probably, but you never know. Hurts does have his turnover crazy games.

They are lucky that the refs gift them 60 yards or whatever it was in 2 DPI calls. Lots of things can be said to be lucky in a football game, it's supposed to be a fun thing to experience and frankly injuries, good/bad ref calls, missed FGs, made FGs... so much of it does have components of luck to it.

Good win, to overcome 5 turnovers; Kenny Pickett was a starting QB in this league pretty recently too.

What does the current playoff picture look like for us?

Also, yes, they lost Hurts. But also, we knocked him out of the game and that’s football. You could just as easily say that if we didn’t lose 3 fumbles, we would have stomped them harder than we did.

My truth is that the downside of my team being good is that between prime time match ups and Sky Sports showing games more frequently (such as this week), I'm going to be able to watch fewer games live.

It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make!

I believe we clinch next week with a win. We can take over the 6 seed with a Packers loss on monday.

Yeah I expected the "Y'all won because Hurts was hurt"... bla blah bla. whatever... Washington also was the team who knocked his ass out. And as you said, if the Skins didn't hand them 5 turn overs it wouldn't have been close. It's a win, the Eagles are sad and are almost surely will not get the #1 seed and bye now so Im happy. HTTR

I did not expect to win today I was hoping that we could keep it respectable and close. Pleasantly surprised. Season of Miracles in December. We are much better than I anticipated this year. I would like to win our remaining games but would be happy with the 50/50 split. BEAT DALLAS

The truth is that Jamison Crowder has always been a gift to this team every time he suits up. He was a fan favorite when he first joined. When he came back, he took it on himself to lose us games so that we could get Jayden Daniels.

And now both his catches today were touchdowns. Jamison Crowder isn't flashy, but this team wouldn't be the same without him.
