Commanders News (Social Media)

In hindsight Forbes being drafted by Rivera in the 1st round is by far the best thing that could have ever happened to him. He was never going to be a steady contributor to a pro team, no matter where he was drafted. He received a life-changing amount of money (15m guaranteed) and if he manages it correctly he will have a very nice life with that as a foundation for whatever he accomplishes in his future.

Not at all. Rypien was bombs away statue behind an impregnible fortress of a line, a defense that shut out almost every opponent, and a more formidable running game (probably) too.
Yeah. But time distorts people's memories...so idk why people are reminded of it

Interesting that Andy Reid did not bring him back to KC when he was fired in Washington.

Usually the 'old boy' network works to provide a safety net when coordinators or head coaches get fired.

Remember how even after a 3 win season Jay Gruden was able to get the OC job in Jacksonville within a few weeks of being let go?

The fact NO ONE in the NFL was willing to stand up for Bieniemy says a lot about him and his personality.

That's the second place schedule?

It doesn’t matter, does it? This season we play/played each team in the AFC North and the NFC South.

Those, and the Chargers and Bears should be tough teams too.

Add the eagles and cowboys who we always find a way to lose to and that is probably about 10 or more tough games on the schedule next year.

I’m not sure this is exactly on topic but it’s closer enough to commanders news I’ll put it here.

I’ll just say, I admire his confidence.

I know Hail Raiser would like to see us give him another shot…
