Hell, why not just advocate tanking for a better draft pick? The dumb is strong in this one.

That 1991 team was a juggernaut. Probably one of the top 5 teams in NFL history. So the more I think about this, the more I see the logic.
Take, for example, Detroit and Atlanta vs the Redskins in '91. Both played dead in the regular season, then brought their A games in the playoffs. The result? 14 and 22 point swings in their favour.

He had around 18 for 70 yards rushing with 3 minutes left in the 3rd (and they had only 6 on the board at that point), we just fell apart in the 4th. He did have the one long catch and run mid-way through the 3rd, but that was a broken play - ie a fault in execution, not game planning. In some ways I actually think Gainwell was the bigger problem. Our D seemed completely off guard when he subbed in.We had no plans to dominate the trenches and stop Barkley in November - if the Master Plan is revealed in December - what's going to stop Barkley for rushing for over 100 on us and them dominating time of possession again after they adjust?

I’m not too optimistic about the rematch, though I’m hopeful Lattimore makes a difference.
I wasn't overly concerned. I think you have to remember that we hadn't had a Bye week yet, Philly had. That we were coming off a brutal stretch after the tough Pittsburgh game on a short week and we were already beaten up.I was very concerned with our lack of strength and conditioning in the 4th
