Random Thoughts

I started the process firmly in the Maye camp. Lamar had just flamed out in the playoffs, again, and I have always preferred a pure pocket passer who can scramble for a first down on 3rd and 6. Then I started watching their games. Maye just never stood out as special. He will probably turn into a fine NFL QB at the Cousins level. Then I started watching Jayden Daniels. The very first pass I saw came out so quickly, his quick release and most everything about him just jumped off the tape as something special. It didn't take me long to switch and I was convinced by draft day that he was the best pick in the draft.
never was big on maye cause i saw most of his unc games and was not thrilled.

at least ovechkin will b back in 3 months

Maybe, but both Theismann and Smith tried to come back, too and you can argue that QB is a less mobility-dependent position. Technology has improved though so I hope Ovie gets his chance to break the record.

Ovechkin has a fracture of the fibula, the much smaller of the two bones in the lower leg. His injury is not remotely comparable to those of Thiesmann and Smith.
i broke a bone near my knee and close to my fibula in 7th grade, still bothers me 50 years later.

I rode motocycles, skied, played softball 4 times a week and did a ton of other sports and activities. And at 65 I still have never broken a bone.

Ditto for me Darrell Green Fan, although I bought a Can Am Ryker this year so maybe I'll finally achieve that milestone :ROFLMAO:

Off to Google "Can Am Ryker". I'm going to assume it's a motorized vehicle of some sort?

Edit: Suspicions confirmed. Looks like a blast.

My parents told me I couldn’t have one while living in their house (even though I had been riding friends bikes in the woods for years).

So when they went out of town for a vacation, I bought my first. They weren’t happy but got over it. I guess I’ve always been an ask for forgiveness rather than permission type.

61 and have had many broken bones, concussions, stitches, sicknesses and about died 2 times as a kid.

One of the reasons I went 3 wheeler... the wife would've put up a lot of fuss if it had been a standard motorcycle. Still a risk but at least I don't have to worry about laying it down.
