Official Game Thread - Week 11 - vs Giants

I am not one to advocate for firing a coach in the middle of a season, but if there was ever a legitimate reason to do so, what happened today would be it.
Words right out of my mouth.

It wouldn't surprise e if DeVito hits three hundred yards. That's where my heart is even if my head says, "Don't be so stupid."
I think I hit this one. If not it was because we were just bad enough for him not to need to.

Seattle gets embarrassed by Baltimore, next game beats Washington.

NYG get embarrassed by Dallas, next game beats Washington.

Washington gets embarrassed by the NYG, next game does what against Dallas?

Lose by 30?

Me neither. Thing is, this is is the third egg they've laid against the bottom of the league. Third time they not only lost to one of the worst teams in the league, but lost going away. The game never really felt in doubt. I thought maybe we could steal it, but that's a horrible feeling against a two win team.

ha cant help but laugh at this point

The execution was poor on so many levels today on the field.

Over and above that, what was even more concerning to me was that it felt like 96 percent of the roster was going through the motions.

I know we all have a choice. We don't need to give up our Sunday afternoons to watch this team. Many of us do though because it is part of how we have been wired since little kids. Some of us know no different. The least we could ask for in return is some pride. Too many players and coaches lacked it on Sunday. It was a comedy of errors and solidified us as a bottom five team in the NFL.

There should be no untouchable players on this roster entering the off-season. I am personally tired of hearing how there is too much talent on this team. I can't buy that when you repeatedly lose to bottom feeders. We are right there among them.

I never felt the players were going through the motions. I felt like there was effort and desire but the plan sucked, the playcalling on both sides of the ball was suspect, and we were the ones making mistakes all day long.

I feel like with almost any other teams coaches we win today.

You would think that in this sport more than most, you could tell if players are "going through the motions". There aren't that many other games where participants put their body on the line to the same degree as NFL.

As a famous Christmas song once said, "Stink. Stank. Stunk."
