Craig Hoffman & Logan Paulson undertook a fun exercise on a recent Take Command podcast and I thought it could be a fun one here, too.

Rank your confidence in the following 9 position groups from least confident to most confident:

O Line
QBs
WRs
TEs
RBs
D Line
LBs
DBs
ST

From highest to lowest

DL
WR
RB
ST
DB
QB
OLine
TE
LB

ST would be higher if I had any confidence in Slye, the rest of the unit is probably top 5 in the league.

I want to be higher on QB, but until I see it, I’ll remain cautiously optimistic.

I think the RB group is the most underrated on this team. Robinson has a world of potential and Gibson has shown he can be a top 10 back. I don’t know how it will shake out this year, but this is one group I just have no concerns with.

Lowest to Highest:

9. LB
8. OL
7. TE
6. QB
5. ST
4. DB
3. RB
2. WR
1. DL

I will say that I don't think we will use LB a lot... so I don't think it will be a liability, but thats by design. I imagine we will see 2 LBs, and maybe only 1 LB on the field the vast majority of the time.

Lowest to highest-

9. OL
8. LB
7. QB
6. ST
5. TE
4. RB
3. DB
2. WR
1. DL

As far as Way and return coverage goes I’m very high. Kicker and kick/punt returns? To be determined.

i got confidence on the whole team but the offensive line.

DL
WRs
RBs
QB
DBs
ST
OL
LBs
TEs

My top 3 require no explanation. I think Sam Howell will be productive in an EB offense with the very good skill position talent he’ll be surrounded with. Thinking we may be surprised at how improved the DBs are this season (if they aren’t, we blew our 2023 draft).

I’m being generous with ST as not having a reliable kicker is more impactful than the positives. The OL, LBs, and TEs are all huge question marks - and that shouldn’t be the case this far into the Rivera/Mayhew era.

In order, top to bottom:

1. DL
1a. WR
2. DB
3. QB
4. ST
5. RB
6. TE
7. OL
8. LB

DL
WRs

ST
OL
LBs
TEs

Too lazy to write my own list lol, so will say I agree with your list friend, especially the TE conundrum if you will.
