We will hold our virtual NFL Draft Zoom party for Day 1 and 2 of the NFL Draft. All BGO members are welcome to join. See this updated post prior to the start of each draft session (8 pm Thursday 4/27 and 7 pm Friday 4/28) for the link to join.

We will gauge interest in doing a Day 3 zoom party depending on participation.

With a full slate of draft picks and a lot of great players at positions of need, this should be a fun one! We hope you all will join us.

---***As a reminder, if you participate we ask that you refrain from announcing or hinting at who is selected in any way based on social media info, which ruins the experience for everyone watching on TV. In other words - don't be a jackass! :)***---

Remember - This is an event to enjoy TOGETHER. Please do not be tipping picks and playing spoiler. We do this every year and would like to continue a welcoming environment... ruining the experience effects our ability to do that

Snyder couldn't be that moronic and out of touch could he? Probably on a gag order or NDA through the sale process my guess, almost getting close to start time folks !!

For a team that wastes as many first round picks on D, we sure are mediocre at it.

Wasted pick when we need OL

My guess is that the guys they had rated as 1st round OL were gone - was hoping Jones would fall a bit more and we could grab him. I feel a lot about this pick like I did last year's. What?????

He'd better be Pat Effing Fischer to be taken there with his small stature (as Om is rightly concerned about). I'm kind of stunned they didn't grab Joey Porter if they were inclined to go CB but what do I know?

If you are picking at #16 in Round 1 you usually don't draft a player that needs to fill out his frame to play in the NFL. He has 4.35 speed which is great, but is he going to be that fast going from his listed 166 to say, 190?

Was Forbes really the best player available? He had the best college production but projecting to the NFL is another story.

I think Washington at #16 and New England at #17 (based on Gonzalez's limited college experience) reached for these picks.

Fischer was a #17 round draft choice!

He was a 5'9 175 pound player in an era where wide receivers were 5'11 and 185, not the 6'3 220 pound monsters with 4.4 speed we see out there today.

I see no way that Christian Gonzales is not the 1st CB selected. I’m not a fan of Joey Porter Jr. I would love a ball hawk at corner since St. Juste is already a big, reliable corner. Give me someone with some juice to take the ball away as a compliment to him. Emanuel Forbes is certainly slight of build but he has thrived in the SEC, a conference loaded with NFL talent. As we already know, Devonta Smith is too skinny for pro ball. 😉

The problem is that he is most likely a stretch pick at 16 and should be gone before 47.

I am shocked that Gonzales was there at 16 and shocked Washington passed on him. That said, I am not disapponted with the selection of Forbes. That he was the 2nd CB drafted? Very surprising.

There must be a reason Gonzales dropped so far though I haven’t heard a disparaging word.

It's a joke Bulldog. Try to keep up :)

I don't like the matchup of Forbes going up against DK Metcalf or Mike Williams.

This guy has to gain 15 pounds to be able to make it through a 16 game season IMO.

Once again we've got Ron thinking he's smarter than anyone else and making a mediocre choice.

I am done defending him. Picking a small corner in the first round will never be a good idea.

I always love when people compare a rookie whos never played a single snap in the NFL with a hall of famer.

I always chuckle 😉
