My nephew who is in the Navy is a big Chiefs fan so I root for them. Otherwise, I don't root for other teams.

Among the owners we have the absolute worst.

I agree on that.

But the holier than thou owners in New York and Pittsburgh annoy me as well. They inherited their teams and were set up to be billionaires, so not a lot of elbow grease done on their part.

Robert Kraft is another sore subject. This guy is a first class scum bag and because Belichick/Brady won on the field, he can actually go out in public and show his face.
 
The owners would have let the misconduct slide but for the cooked books. They can use social matters as a facade but the lost money is the dirt they actually care about.
The very last sentence in the tweet pic basically is saying that. Enrich yourself, but don't do it at the expense of the others, which is exactly what Snyder did, apparently.

Owners are predatory and love one-upping each other, but they always come together for certain things like a labor negotiation with the labor union.
 
Again, anyone with a soul would be embarrassed. This man has no soul. It says they paid him the money, but they should have paid him the money, his bank fee, and then some. But I'm guessing at best they paid only the money and the fee.
 
Snyder is acting within stereotype at this point. You know, all this dough and you still try to short people their coin.
 
We're trying to govern billionaires with "rules" that are selectively enforced. It is never going to work.
 
There's an energy happening around this anti-Snyder surge that feels a little different. It's a little more national. It's a little more outside the fanbase. It's got flavors of owners mutterings. I still expect it to come to nothing but who knows?

Yeah, I'm the same. I'm trying not to get too invested yet or I'll feel like Charlie Brown.
 
You all talked about this on the podcast, but a fan chant or reaction Sunday will make national news. This is a big story and the pressure needs to continue to mount.
 
I didn't think so at first but you may have something here.

This in part reminds me of the name change energy that was developing around 2013 or 2014. At the time no one thought Snyder would change the name despite the criticism, but then a few years later the name was changed.

Snyder has continually done sleazy and outrageous things to keep the issue of his competency in the front mirror.

Maybe this time it doesn't die down.
