At the moment I’d keep Patterson over Barber, if that’s what it comes down to.

I do not enjoy the idea of making my first post of the football season a negative one, but Dustin Hopkins needs to get it together.

With the schedule we face, there are not going to be too many teams we are blowing out and I feel like his leg could decide two or three games this year. That's often the difference between being in the playoffs or watching from home.

Absolutely. I've defended him in the past, but he needs to look a lot more like Year 1 Hopkins or this will rightfully be his last season in DC.

At the moment I’d keep Patterson over Barber, if that’s what it comes down to.

I know Barber is a one trick pony, but being able to punch it into the endzone for a TD or get 2 yds for a first down when they know we are rushing the ball is critical - and he's pretty damn good at that one trick. I think it's Lamar Miller who is the one Patterson might supplant, not Barber. Guess it depends on how many RBs we keep.

Rhamondre Stevenson was a guy I was high on when we talked draft RBs. Last night you saw a glimpse of how good he can be… 10 rushes, 127 yds, 2 TDs… just a dominating performance.

Logan Thomas looks like the same guy he was at the end of last year, only a better blocker. I thought Bates looked surprisingly good. I think Reyes ends up on the PS.

Patterson looked like fast change of pace back that would be a nice addition no doubt. I thought the right side of O-line was just OK but ill take that for the first preseason game and your right about Hopkins to. Im starting to cringe a little when he lines up. Logan Thomas continues to impress . That first first down throw that Fitzpatrick made was thrown 3 yard s to short and Thomas made an incredible move to back track and catch it . To me it really showed how athletic he can be . I also really like Hemmingway . I think you can see he's going to make a contribution this year no doubt. all in all for me the game was .... Eh .... one quick side note if anyone hasn't figured it out yet Chase Young is THE MAN
