Well, we were arguing from the most extreme positions yesterday, but if they did consider trading him I think one way in which they might show him respect is only considering a trade to a team that is competing for a title, and one that Kerrigan is on board with. It wouldn't be the first time a team did that out of respect for a special player.
I tend to think that his 'value' in a potential trade is nowhere near what our fans think it is, which is usually the case, which is one of the biggest reasons I'm skeptical it will happen.
