Burner's Burning Questions: Free Agency, The Mock Drafts, 2017 (Continual Updates)

Safeties:
Su'a Cravens – Starter
D.J. Swearinger – Starter
Deshazor Everett
Will Blackmon
Montae Nicholson
Josh Harvey-Clemons (Also at Linebacker)

Practice Squad:
Mack Brown, RB
Fish Smithson, FS
Robert Davis, WR
John Kling, OT
Joey Mbu, DE/DT
Tyler Catalina, G
Lynden Trail, LB
Josh Holsey, CB
Nico Marley, ILB
Zach Pascal, WR

2 things -
I don't think Mack Brown is eligible for the practice squad, since he was active for over 6 games last year (total of nine).
Also, I don't believe Nicholson makes the team.

It depends on how many games he was inactive in that stretch. I've been told that he is PS eligible, but we will see.

I'd love to see Mack Brown stick.....there's something interesting about that guy and the way he runs.

Deshazor Everett's draft profile states "If he can add bulk, safety might be his fallback position."
So, the Redskins wisely switched from CB to Safety.
And has he added bulk, in order to facilitate that ? You better believe it.
He is bulked up from his draft day weight of 193, to 2 pounds heavier at 195.
And only about 30 pounds lighter than Cravens, the player he is replacing.

Wait what?

The part about him bulking up an extra 2 pounds was sarcasm.
He really needs to bulk up a lot more if he wants to play that position IMO
Oh i know lol i was semi sarcastic

Wasn't there mention a while back of moving Breeland to safety? Coulda imagined it...I do that on occasion.

195 is just not big enough... that dude needs to be able to hit and rb when both are goin 100 mph..

Roullier moves up to start.

Roullier has played well in the little bit of tape I've seen on him. It hasn't been against starters nor has he snapped to Kirk during a game but it'll be interesting to see as long as Kirk doesn't get pummeled. Even with nobody on him he finds someone to hit. Not to say he's going to push out Long but they need a backup Center.
Does Ronald Patrick also play Center? He was with Dallas in 2014 & 2015 (PS) but maybe a guy coach C has some experience with.

My feeling is that Long hasn't done anything to distinguish himself. At worst this creates a depth concern. Hopefully Long is back quickly and whether or not he's lost his starting job or resumes it, we've got a little security at that position.

Besides, I have no damn idea how to pronounce 'Roullier' :)

Long is fine at Center - but they do need a backup. On the other hand, I wouldn't be real disappointed to see him move to LG with a different C. I don't see it happening but wouldn't heartbroken either...

Roullier is a big ugly. Your not supposed to be able to pronounce his name. :rugby:

Been calling him "Roller" when I read his name. Probably wrong, but his mom's not the boss of me!

Hail To The Redskins!

Besides, I have no damn idea how to pronounce 'Roullier' :)

I've been thinking "Roll Ear"

Probably because I feel like we're about to "roll" the dice on another OL draft pick.
And "ear" because I hope he has a really good ear, to hear the QB audibles in a loud away game.

But the spelling looks French, so I'm thinking "Roll Yay"
Or maybe "Rool Yahh"
