This is taking some getting used to.

Problem is this is a catch game like the Bengals...a team we are better than, today, but could not put them away when we should have...several times.

I predict that Norman sees less than 2 passes in his direction. There is no way they challenge him. I know this is the Panthers and Cam Newton we are talking about, but even they can't be that stupid.

I'm hoping it's a Cutler challenging D-Hall type game where Norm picks him of a few times.

Newton has more then enough ego to over ride smarts, and have him throw at Norman often.

The Carolina game is a toughie for me.

I really think the Redskins are going to struggle here.

Newton can run and pass and that type of dual threat quarterback traditionally drives the Redskins defense crazy.

It's a nationally televised game on Monday night.

That's not a formula Washington has found much success with either.

Lastly, it appears Luke Kuechly may very well come off the concussion protocol so Carolina is getting back one of the better linebackers in the NFL.

I am not saying I am convinced the Redskins will lose. But when I see lines favoring the Redskins by 6.5 points, I think that is way off base.

If we can escape Carolina 24-21 or 28-27 I will be happy.

If we wind up making the playoffs, it's going to have to be by riding the offense and that means riding the arm of Kirk Cousins, IMO,because its clearly obvious that whether through talent or scheme...the defense isn't capable.

Kirk's already went over the 4000 yd mark(a Redskins record) again this year and has three more games to add to it.

So if he continues his record breaking pace and we make the playoffs, why wouldn't he be in the MVP discussion?

Stafford and Carr get mentioned, alot, along with Brady(obviously).

Not the narrative the NFL wants to run with. They want Dallass, New England or Seattle to run the headlines...the Raiders are a team they'd love to see back at the top and Stafford really has exhibited MVP play. Kirk? We aren't division leaders nor are we one of the top 3 marketable teams...as we stay 3rd most profitable franchise in the NFL.

I'm half-serious when I say this, because I know the sentiment here against him - Jeff Fisher for DC.

Jeff Fisher is a dumbass. The trolling he did to us a few years back after the RG3 trade was one of the dumbest, ego-centric things I've ever seen. You NEVER know when you might need a job, and to piss off an organization with a stunt like that, probably eliminating him as a coaching candidate in order to get a few laughs from your own fans is the definition of stupidity. The lack of judgment it takes to do something that dumb should disqualify him from consideration for anything at or above the waterboy level.

That, and he's a bad coach.
