Keys to the Game Contest

Game starts slow as both offenses struggle initially. Dak and Zek hit the rookie roadbump.

Post halftime the game turns into the expected shootout.

Redskins end the Boys win streak and show them who the REAL power in the division is. ;)
 
Ok another week another game...

This is a tough one. It's a good match up on paper.

Arizona have the number 1 ranked Defense according to NFL.com

Skins have the number 2 Offense according to NFL.com

Something has to give. And their defense ranking is carried more by their Pass defense, their running defense is a little lower, which is a shame because our Run game is our offensive weakness.
Still I'd be amazed if our Offense can't move on them, we've been pretty much unstoppable (ignoring the redzone!) all season.

On the flipside we're ranked 25th on total defense and they're ranked 9th on Offense.

Carson Palmer isn't the threat he was last year, but they still have Fitzgerald so Norman will have to be on his best.
The real problem for us and 'the Red Sea' (trademark pending!) is that the Cardinals have David Johnson. Who's a pretty good running back... ok... he's really good. He's only 80 yards off his 1000 yard season, llikely he'll get it against our bad run D.

So in summary... our strengths hit their strengths, but their strengths hit our weaknesses... which is worrying.

So... KEYS TO THE GAME!

1) As good as their pass defense is, they can't match our weapons man for man and we continue to move the ball well.
2) Red Zone issues begone. I'm saying we drive to the redzone 5 times and come away with 4 TD's at least.
3) Unfortunately our D can't stop their run, which opens up their Passing and Palmer has a good day, turning the game into a shootout.

Skins still win though.. 31-24
 
My key to the game is... Kendal Fuller. Dude shows us why the FO was so high on him by holding John Brown in check (under 50 yards) and gets into INT to boot.
 
Preston Smith returns from witness protection, getting consistent pressure on Palmer and two sacks--the second of which results in a 4th-quarter turnover that allows us to seal the deal.
 
Kirk wears the eye black for the first time to prevent the glare of the Arizona sun from blinding his vision downfield, hits Djax for the game winner.

A picture highlighting the contrast between the black cheeks and those eyes will go viral within minutes giving new meaning to 'how do you like me now?'
 
Game will be close till late in the afternoon trading off mostly FG attempts. Skins refuse to run the ball (60 yds for the game) relying on the passing game - playing into Az's hands on defense. Cards get an Int late in the 4th, Skins get it back on a fumble and Hopkins lines up for the winning FG. It's up, it's on it's way, it's, it's...

Hmmmm I said it's gonna be a shootout so...

Key: The Cards have locked up TEs all year, but this week in Reeds absence Vernon Davis has a standout game and is the difference for us. I'm seeing a pair of TDs from him.

Nothing real special about the Philly game, it'll be kinda boring. Redskins score first, never fall behind and run for almost as many yards as they pass for.
 
Carson Wentz hits a 40 yard TD pass with time expiring to doom the Skins.

We've forced a batch of fumbles this year but this week we will actually recover one close enough for Kelly to break one and score on the subsequent drive.
 
We shred their secondary! Why? Balance. Redzone issues begone as the Skins actually run the ball this week!! Almost even runs to pass ratio.

Oh Panther Pith.....have no idea how they are playing but I do know that there is a Newton Bomb coming to town. He could fizzle or frazzle.... be dud or stud....be cause for sunshine or nuclear winter..... all is in play.

Key.... of course I can't go against our guys so I say that our D makes-do and gets off the field with enough time to allow Kirk to lead a game winning drive..... more specifically the winning TD is a naked bootleg by Kirk for the final score.
