Random Commanders Thoughts

He's reportedly a 'healthy scratch' so I'm not sure how else you can interpret it.

I'd love to see Mack Brown get five or ten touches today to see if his preseason success carries over.

Also, Minny probably has the worst O-line we've played against this season. We should be able to hit Bradford all day long. Just like we pounded Wentz.

Remember when we had a defense that shut Sam Bradford down and DIDNT make him look like an all pro? Good times

Alright I'm confused on the D. How in the hell can they appear to be Swiss cheese in the first half then turn stone cold killa in the second? If friggin DingleBarry would call the entire game like the 2nd halves they'd be a savage unit.

Fat Rob adds a little more mortar to his spot as starting RB.....

Adjustments at halftime? Another no score after halftime against our D.

It's being said locally(by Gruden) that Preston is getting ridden to up his game.

Smith was asked if he thought Coach would lighten up some after today's game...... answered 'nope'.

I like Maurice Harris' size and speed at WR. He came in and converted a couple of first downs for us.

Ryan Grant may be 'one of the hardest working players' on the team per Gruden but he simply doesn't have the size or speed to be a legitimate threat.

I would like to see Harris get some reps even when Jackson comes back.

Preston Smith MVP...Game-changing INT, and a Game-Winning Sack.

Despite the win - disagreed with declining the penalty before the Vikes last play. Wiser to take the penalty and the yardage, than the down. Take the 10-yard penalty and that puts them at the 38, with 11 seconds left, and no time-outs. Either way, you're most likely looking at one play left for them - because by declining it they do have 4th down, but take the penalty and that requires them much more yardage to go for the TD, and again, most likely still one play left as time runs out after the 3rd down play, unless they take the chance on 2 quick end zone shots all the way from the 38 which is unlikely.

Hopefully the Bengals are just as mad about the tie as we were, and go out and beat NY tomorrow night.
Next week, for the 2nd week in a row, we get an NFC North team on a 3 game losing streak. Time to avenge the playoff loss.

It doesn't matter. The Cowboys are going to win the NFC East. We're playing for a wildcard spot imho.

This Redskins team will beat the Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

There I said it.

And almost certainly, they're the best team in the NFC.
Is it a really good sign that we came so close to beating them earlier this year ?
Or were they still developing, and even better now, than they were then ?

Kirk Cousins is more than a legit QB...he keeps playing like this he'll get paid big money, if not with us with someone else.
