I have to say, I was pretty impressed with Trent's switch to guard and holding his own while never taking a snap at the position... not even once in practice. If I were Gruden, I'd be starting the line we finished with. It was far from perfect, and perfectly fine too. Maybe Gruden was worried about pass pro with Trent at guard causing them to call more runs, but it helped the running game, and pass pro didn't suffer to any great extent. He shocked the hell out of I'd say dame near everybody on the planet with the fake punt, and my hats off to him on that one. Fun game to watch no doubt, and a good sign that the team is on board and willing to fight till the last whistle. Cravens needs to be on the field as often as possible, as it looks like he could be a difference maker as he develops. Kirk played better then the first two outings, but is still not seeing the field well. I really expected to have our asses handed to us, and thrilled we were able to come away with a tough road win. Long way to go, but it was a step in the right direction.
Now if you excuse me, I have a tub of ice water to soak my pounding head in. Should know better then to start drinking at 11:00 am, and finish at 11:00 PM.
