If I'd known he was going to rush for a TD I would have. I'b be sitting pretty if that TD had gone to Jackson which is what I was counting on...him being the short yardage goal line option. :(

The running backs this week were blah to me. Time will tell.

Well, I have a chance. Top two thousand advance to the finals. I simply can't believe my luck. Ranked 622 right now. Just never expected this streak of luck. One game to go. Not sure if I will be there in the end after this game, but it sure is nice now.

Currently ranked at 471st. If I pull this off and make it to the finals, I'm carrying the BGO spirit with me. One more half to go. I'm a bundle of nerves.

Made it to the finals. Finished today ranked 644 out of 20,000 (some forgot to play or simply didn't, so the total was 19,221).

Just 2,000 remain now and I'll do my best to carry the BGO banner. Likely, I don't win one of the prizes, but it would be nice to finish in the top two or three hundred.

I'll post my lineup later this coming week.

You did much better than I did, sir. My Saturday was great but yesterday killed me. I totally misread the Sea-Car game where I expected the defenses to dominate the whole thing much like we saw last week in MN or yesterday in Den so I stayed away from that matchup except for Gano and the Seattle defense. Gano did okay but the Seahawk defense collapsed (which didn't hurt my feelings at all). I could have salvaged something in the second match if Markus Wheaton had hung on to that TD he had but dropped early.

Here we go. For all the marbles. 266,000+ winners from various leagues made this contest and now we are down to 2,002. I tried to do the math and based it off of all leagues containing ten players with a few having twelve or fourteen players. About what - 2.7 million people played in the free fantasy leagues this year at yahoo? So to be down to the last couple of thousand is a huge honor and I hope to represent BGO with the best showing possible.

Here is the lineup for now - it could change. Feel free to offer advice and/or recommendations.

Uh, in the league that I won...

Couldn't beat Boone - twice.
Neo beat me twice, but got by him in the playoffs.

Off to a meh start. Currently 1252 out of 1947 contestants. For some odd reason, 55 did not play. Maybe some live in the east where there is still no power?

Need for my players to start picking it up.
 
I gave it a try and finished 451st. It was a tough 450 ahead of me. Many likely had templates, spreadsheets, etc. and I went with the same old strategy - just good old fashioned guessing and looking to see how players did in the previous game. I was at 183 a little earlier in the game and was hoping to finish in the top two or three hundred.

I did my best to represent BGO and the only reason I got this far is due to the help I've received from everyone here. The members our humble little home are very knowledgeable about football and your help the last two years has been great. I knew nothing about FF at the beginning of last year. Next season, let's get more than one to this level. We can do it. Here is how I did.

McD5 came up with the idea, I just delivered the execution. It seemed fun, glad you guys enjoy them. Give people something to aim for next year :D
